Fun fact: sonique was out as trans through the whole season. She had confessionals talking about her transition too. But production cut it all because they wanted the dramatic coming out moment.

@@resolvedenvy Oh no sweetie...Tatiana was unpolished...she had very limited drag...and she wasn't quick on her feet...I enjoyed when she went off on Raven but she was no real threat...if Tyra didn't win I would have thought Juju....Raven just thought she was the best ever and she wasn't...that's why she didn't win those challenges even thoughy she thought she was clearly the winner...smh...Tyra earned her place...she never was in the bottom 2, her drag was impeccable, her whole drag personna was flawless...she snatched wigs and wore that crown 👑...

That was the best season. Interesting challenges, raw emotions, strong cast, actual involvement of RuPaul herself. Unlike later seasons, this one felt unscripted and real.

The fact that you were actually happy when the most hated drag race contestant, who did so many bad and terrible things to people, won, confuses me. She doesn’t impress me at all. Raven should’ve won that season since she deserved it, and frankly, I’m glad Tyra retired

What they did and who they are now didn't matter and literally didn't exist in their season, which was YEARS ago.

Despite all the drama she made both during and after the show, Tyra was the best on Season 2. Always had killer runways and always deliver on the challenges. I love Raven, but I can't deny that Tyra was better that season. A lot of people are just blinded by their hate to Tyra and love to Raven to see it.

Tyra coasted on looks and immunity for much of it. I don't think she's as well rounded a performer as some of the others were. But she did KILL that final lip sync.

Raven didn't like Tyra, but she hated Tatianna more, so when Tyra and Tatianna clashed on the main stage during the wedding challenge Raven decided to stand on Tyra's side. She was like enemy of my enemy is my friend.

The fact that she had, by far, the best track record maybe? I have no clue how people even liked Raven on Season 2. She was a bully and was in the bottom twice. If Tyra was an “UNT” then Raven definitely was too, but with a less impressive track record.

I feel sad when I think about Tyra Sanchez. She was bullied from the start, and even though she was a diva, she didn't deserve the hate she got. Heck, she almost tried to kill herself months after the crowning. She of course is responsible for all the controversies surrounding her, but even before that all started, what was the need for the fandom to pick on her?

Not to support bullying, but Tyra is nasty. Even to this day, and whenever she gets called out on it, she either disables comments, or just deactivates her social media for a while. She never wants to apologize, or see herself in the wrong.
