People hear what they want to hear. The only thing that occurred was that he posed questions in a forceful manner, and the responses were equally forceful. If you take the time to listen to the responses, you would find it to be an informative interview overall.

Where have _you_ been? Chris Hedges had to quit his job at the New York Times because he kept telling everyone that there were "no WMDs in Iraq." This was in 2002-03. Others after him have also gone through similar crap. As for Hasan, eh, he practices journalism sometimes. Other times, like his so-called "interview" with Matt Taibbi, not so much. Mehdi does have some skills, but unfortunately, for the most part, he toes the company line instead of practicing _actual_ journalism. Matt, too, had to leave Rolling Stone because he also wouldn't toe the company line. Robert Scheer, and Seymour Hersh, were also fired for telling the truth. In this interview, though, Hasan got it right. Although I haven't yet watched it, I know he got it right because he got fired for it. That's _how_ I know. Because concerning _this_ subject, you're only _allowed_ to come at it from _only_ one direction.

Mr. Mahdi, if The Hamas uses an Israeli school in Tel-Aviv as a human shield and from there Hamas shoots rockets on the entire country and threaten the existence of the entire country, then yes, we will do anything to stop and dismantle Hamas including shooting at the school, and that's what Israel is doing in Gaza.
