I wouldn't quite go that far. There was very little about the Trump administration that I found bearable, but many of Randy's pieces had me laughing so hard that I was in tears. Let's just say that he was one of the bright spots during that time. I do wish that there were less horrible things available to spark his imagination now. I thought he might have less to parody once Trump left office, but sadly Randy still has a lot of material to draw on.

Let’s all remember that growing-up knowing s-it about Gender and S-uality LITERALLY harms the Children growing up, that’s well-known fact and objectively true. Growing up not knowing which things they themselves COULD possibly be has been shown, documented, shown, more documented and also been shown to harm, as they literally are well-documented to grow into Uneducated and/or Bigots and/or Other Stuff. It was well-documented fact, even before Jaden Animations now-legendary video about Asexuality that growing-up without KNOWING WHAT EXISTS may lead to a lot of Pain.

Between Randy Rainbow and the Parody Project, I was able to keep what little sanity I still possessed during the living nightmare that was Twitler’s regime! They provided a balm to my raddled sanity and quite a bit of desperately-needed laughter! Even now I eagerly wait for a new video to drop-as long as the Rethuglican Religious Reich keeps poking hornet’s nests, Parody Project and Randy Rainbow will NEVER lack for material!

I laugh EVERY day remembering what is my view is his greatest song ever( and every song is possibly greater than which ever one he did before) BUT, BUT “Kamala” and the reference to Mike Pence’s ‘Pee Pee’ it is just Shakespeare it is Ivor Novello, it is Rogers and Hammerstein Rogers and Hart it’s Lionel Bart it’s Tim Rice it’s Elton John. It’s Steven Sondheim it’s Noel Coward it’s Gilbert & Sullivan: The only thing without disrespecting or diminishing my love of his predecessors is that Randy Rainbow hopefully the soon to be ‘Sir Randy Rainbow’ is more talented and wonderful!!!

Thank you Randy Rainbow 🌈💗💜 I am the GSA advisor at the high school where I teach and I cannot tell you how much it means what you are doing to put positivity out there and thoughtfulness. I worry so much about the impact all this hateful rhetoric is having on my students. They’re not trying to bother anyone; they’re just trying to live their lives and make friends like all the other kids- they’re just trying to be accepted in a world that keeps telling them how unacceptable they are. I know it’s comedy, but you are doing more than just comedy, you are shedding a light on kids who need it and I thank you for that! Praying these hurtful bills don’t make their way up to CT, a bunch of hateful and power hungry adults have no business picking on vulnerable kids who have enough on their plates already. It’s not like Hugh school’s a walk in the park for ANYBODY. So THANK YOU!❤️🌈💜

I have loved every single video this man made since the "Very Model of a Very Stable Genius" during the 2016 campaigns. You regard it as satire, when in fact it’s incredibly one-dimensional, infantile, anti-Trump propaganda. Leftists aren’t funny at all, whereas genuine, old-school liberals can be, they’re more based. Watching this video I am struck by how exceptionally brave Randy is. His school years must have been horrific. Instead of folding, he's taken the abuse and humiliation and used it to fuel an amazing career. I admire Randy's wit and talent but most of all I admire his personal courage.

I’m already 1/2 way through his book and it at times laugh out loud funny (he made me realize I still have a Long Island accent) and other times just plain old heartwarming. I’ve been a fan for a long time and am so glad to be reading this.

If you like those songs you should try to catch a good stage production if you get the chance. The movie did the songs fairly well, but it didn’t do much else well and everything about that musical is so much better on stage.

He made the Trump years tolerable, but I've loved 🌈Randy Rainbow❤🧡💛💚💙💜 from before that... I loved hearing about the origin of Randy's name and his life- because he was more Broadway than Hollywood- he did his own thing on KZfaq and got famous just because he is so crazily talented and creative, so I never knew much about his personal life. BTW, my daughter's name is Raine (named after my mom Lorraine, and before I knew about this amazing, talented artist) ♡

I'm so glad to see that 🌈 Randy Rainbow 🌈 is getting the recognition his "musical-parody-comedy" so richly deserves. When I came across his first videos on KZfaq I was amazed by his talent and creativity. As Joy Reid said, his videos really did help get me through the evil audaciousness of the Pumpkin Spiced Cheeto Christ years.

randy's right: gqp doesn't understand the consequences of their actions. so they hate everyone until they or someone in their own family is affected by whatever it is that they hate...and they suddenly develop some empathy. america needs better parents--we need to teach all kids empathy.

I've said the same thing. It's apparent that conservatives lack the ability to empathize with other people. They seem to not have the capability to mentally put themselves in someone else's situation, in order to see how they'd feel about that situation happening to them or to their loved ones. That must require too much creative thinking or something.

Your talent and personality, great voice and new lyrics to classic songs, were a breath of much needed fresh air. We always notified each other when you had a new video available!
