Lawrence explains that President Biden is a “more careful lawyer than Richard Nixon” who nearly caused a mistrial when then-President Nixon publicly declared Charles Manson guilty of murder during the Manson trial in 1970.

I think they will happen because: 1) Trump will do all the talking, interrupting endlessly. 2) The moderator will treat Trump with kid gloves, and never control him. 3) The rules will state that Trump's crimes and trials can't be discussed, further protecting him . 4) A win, win, win for our new dictator.

FACTS: "The Trump hush money case is underway in New York. Of all legal cases against Trump, this one is the weakest and most absurd of all. It involves an alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has already expired, in conjunction with another alleged misdemeanor on which the statute of limitations has also expired, both part of an alleged election interference conspiracy that other courts have already said isn’t a crime. Philosophy major here. Debates are driven to produce a winner. True dialog, in which there is a thesis and an antithesis, produce a higher or greater understanding of the subject in question. Debates could be conducted in accord with the logical rules of inference and an astute moderator, knowledgeable in biases and fallacies in which points are deducted, refereeing the dialog or arguments, and thereby determining a winner. There are formal rules for every kind of game or contest. However, debate is one contest that needs more formal structure and fundamental modifications that, if studied and engaged in properly, would produce not only better debaters, but superlative thinkers as well.
