It's good to think about God, but it is even better to rely upon your own actions. Vote, vote, vote so dems obtain an overwhelming majority that allows them to reform justice (term limits, balanced nominations, accountability for justices, restore Roe VS Wade, impeach corrupt and lying justices, draft laws that take a supermajority to change, impose wealth tax and reinforce social security and health care) GOP has proven they do not want to govern for the people, only for Trump and the rich donors that can spoil them tax free...

So many people have been "dumbed down" by social media and a simple lack of critical thinking ability. This and a total ignorance of the history of the 20th century. It is much easier for the lazy minded ones to pick and choose what they want to hear rather than look at historical fact. They slept through History class, apparently, or they did not attend at all.

My father too.. in the D-Day Landings at Omaha Beach, Normandy and all the terrible battles in the Ardenne & Huertgen Forest, and helped the British bury the corpses at Bergen-Belsen before going on to hand to hand combat in Berlin.

There should no longer be a SCOTUS. There should be something like The Judicial Inquiry Board and the Courts Commission with weigh to manage, over rule, reprimand judges, etc. in each state. And an official Judicial Advisory Board to advise only, for judges, lawyers, and maybe others. I know they're big jobs but a "SUPREME" court no longer works. They're taking their job title name literally.

Being impeached and being convicted of impeachment are two different things though and Congress does not have the numbers to do so if voting along party lines. That is why Donald Trump was never convicted during his two impeachment trials. Article III of the Constitution governs the appointment, tenure, and payment of Supreme Court justices, and federal circuit and district judges. These judges, often referred to as “Article III judges,” are nominated by the President and confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Article III states that these judges “hold their office during good behavior,” which means they have a lifetime appointment, except under very limited circumstances. Article III judges can be removed from office only through impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction by the Senate.

How are crimes included as "official duties"? Article II Section 3 of The CONSTITUTION describes only a few things that the President does, but among them is "he shall take care that the Laws be faithfully executed". If he is not doing so, is he not operating outside the role of President, and in a personal capacity for his own agenda?

If this ruling was made in any other "normal" year it would have been terrible. The fact that it has been made three and a half years after Jan 6th, is a NIGHTMARE. 44 previous Presidents were able to do their jobs in good times and bad, based simply on the the Constitution and the example of conduct before them. Only Nixon crossed the line. Only a person with criminal past or criminal intent would demand immunity to do whatever they want.

This incident proves that the supreme court in it's current composition isn't free of corruption and needs to be expanded with more judges to reduce the influence of extremists. The number of judges needs to be raised from 9 to 17.
