The japanese cannibal is Issei Sagawa. He committed the murder while studying in France, and Japan basically doesn't care what you do outside of Japan. France allowed his extradition thinking they were going to throw him under the jail and the japanese basically let him off with a slap on the wrist

One time I was on the computer really late at night looking at American apparel ads and a ghost stepped out of the corner of the room. My wife must’ve woken up when she came in the room. I got so startled I slammed the computer lid shut, and the ghost disappeared by exploding into gooey white ectoplasm all over my hands and shirt…. And a nearby tissue.

I have pretty bad night terrors and every couple weeks I’ll wake up and be 100% paralyzed and I’ll struggle for a minute or so until I can finally move. 9/10 I have no hallucinations but sometimes everything starts shaking and rattling like an earthquake and then I can feel someone creeping up behind me
@MattH-wg7ou8 ай бұрын
Dude sleep paralysis is no joke! First time it happened to me I legitimately thought I had a stroke. I couldnt move or talk or scream all I could do was breathe real hard panting like a dog trying to get my wifes attention from the bedroom (she was still awake watching tv in the living room). Thankfully I didnt have any hallucinations but it was terrifying enough without them! Just a pure direct injection of the purest terror feeling I've ever had. I was legit shook up the next day. Next time it happened I knew what it was so it wasnt AS terrifying. But I knew to just chill and wait and it'll pass.

could be wrong here but pretty sure the best way to avoid sleep paralysis is by sleeping on your side ... i think it most commonly occurs when people sleep on their backs.
@casablanca38718 ай бұрын
Okay so this used to happen to me. You can control these moments. My eyes would feel as if they were heavier and heavier and as they would close more visuals would change to just gray shaking and then the loud blaring noise made it feel like I was fucking losing it. Then I started to realize I could stop my eyes from closing. I was lucid dreaming during these episodes and had no clue. One time I fought the urge to close my eyes within the dream/paralysis and it made the noise fade plus I maintained normal vision. Then the feeling would pass after I fought it for like 10/15 mins and and I could actually go the fuck to sleep. The episodes always felt like they lasted hours though. Always checked the time afterwards and wondered why it wasn't 3/4am yet. Ugh.
@MattH-wg7ou8 ай бұрын
@@reabsorb6775 you might be right. Ive had it 2 and a half times. (One was minor and short lived and I was pretty much fully conscious) and both of the full times I was on my back. The "half" sleep paralysis time I was on my side!

@moonknight40537 ай бұрын
Is there a way to be cured from sleep paralysis?
@TimmyMcGowan7 ай бұрын
@@moonknight4053 mf you think if I knew that I’d be having it 4 times a week?? But for real I’ve got other weird shit going on, but sleeping on your side instead of your back, theanine, not eating close to bed time, avoiding opiates and other drugs that affect your breathing and cutting down on caffeine and nicotine in general if those are something you indulge in. If you do have sleep paralysis tho and can sit still and accept it completely when it happens you can shoot right into a lucid dream which is pretty cool
@collinc1017 ай бұрын
I get it to about once a week if im lucky. For a while it was more. Talk about a nightmare. I use the sleeping on my side trick and it does work. I still havent been able to accept it and go into the spirit traveling but ive thought about it. I always just try to use all my strength to try to thrash out of it.
@TimmyMcGowan7 ай бұрын
@@collinc101 no kidding, glad to hear it’s at least got slightly better for you. sucks when you fall asleep on your side like a mmgood boy and then wake up on your back paralysis’d out tho right? but yeah I don’t blame you it feels like accepting death and suffocation at once, I’ve only done it a handful of times. You get shot out of a fucking cannon through your chest right into a dream room which is a wild experience worth finding a way to try at least once. I’m a 💯 thrasher🔥 for sure too. Idc if it takes 45 minutes of berserk thrashing, I’m thrashing. me and the spirit realm are beefing right now, since I’ve had way too many gnarly nightmares I can’t get comfortable in a lucid dream yet, Im just waiting for some shit to come right at me even when it isn’t going to. I’d try theanine if you haven’t, something about converting into alpha brain waves during REM. I can usually get chiller better sleep in general on it regardless I’ve got weird other physical shit going on, but in general I feel it just happens when your body is in desperate need of restful sleep but your brain can’t help but be alert looking for something for whatever reason. Could be an unresolved health issue. Keeping a good sleep schedule and avoiding things that drain you harder during the day like not eating or using stimulants, and keeping mental stress as low as you can are about the only things in your control. Only thing left to try after that is to let a college white girl witch do a tarot reading and incense you

I tried meth once when I was like 23. Not only was it a miserable ordeal (I couldn't sleep for 2 days, spent that time thinking about how fucked up it was that I tried meth) But I had my 1st and only Hat Man experience. Fucking horrifying. I watched it stand up at the foot of my bed and stare at me , while i was trapped in my head/body and could not even scream or move. Never touched meth again after that. Fuck that shit.

That hallucination probably had alot more to do with not sleeping then psycho active effects of the meth. pro tip for those who suffer from sleep paralysis, just go back to sleep. if you wake up and are paralyzed, dont freak yourself out. Just know you are experiencing sleep paralysis and close your eyes and go back to sleep. youll cruise back to sleepyville really quickly considering you were just on the cusp of it when you woke.
@weezypeezy17258 ай бұрын

My Pops "checked out early" about 9yrs ago now. Hung himself & to top off that sh*t sandwich, I'm the 1 who actually found him like that, so there's some PTSD. But the reason I bring this up is because 1 of the ways I've learned to cope with his loss is threw comedy. A lot & I mean a lot of people think it's disgusting that I joke about suicide but everyone deals with trauma differently so. For example 1 of the times I caught hell for cracking a joke was wen an old classmate of mines dad had died from like a heart attack, so he made a post saying, " list something that your dad taught you that you'll never forget." An important life lesson or something. So i wrote, "the thing my Pops taught me is, that wen life gets too hard & you just don't want to deal with it anymore, it's OK to just stop doing it."
