Brockmire is the closest I can think of. He’s an alcoholic announcer who gets close and partied with the minor league team he works for. Super funny, highly recommend.

Its so funny how there's parallels across the pond here in Australia. I played rugby union and also coached junior rugby for 2 years when i was 18 and 19. This is exactly the life of a schoolboy rugby player.

I was at that football game. John Tyler vs Plano East. We fucking left with about 7 mins left in the game with JT up huge. Plano took the lead with 1 second left and JT returned kickoff for TD. Can't believe we missed that ending. They still show those highlights on ESPN occasionally.

I remember spilling traps as a d-tackle. I'd come thru notice I was unblocked I would just lean left like I was gonna fall over if I didn't get hit by the guard I'd fall over but the Lean would counter balance me when the hit came so I'd still be up and I'd just let the guard push me and I'd grab the rb as he was going by me. I used to love getting trapped.

Don't think he has acro, does he? Either way, male voices deepen with age. Although his voice was never high pitched in the early episodes. It's always sounded the same imo, relatively/normally deep.
