I've been debating getting the pedal commander for the response, I just hate how non-linear the throttle is with the least travel, most of the pedal is wasted. The rev hang at lower gear is such a pain, and I know it can't be fixed legally. I'm afraid of doing too much on a car that hasn't been crowd-tested extensively yet. It is my only daily. I've done exhaust, removed the carbon filter, installed an MTEC clutch spring, wired the front accessory lights with turn signals and some STi trim pieces, had an LED steering wheel which I removed (after replacing a broken clock spring lol) cuz I couldnt wire without battery drain and never got re-alligned (teeth were'nt perfectly centered). Did a wrap on OEM instead. And I have some light-up door sills I couldn't figure out how to light up properly without wiring it into the dome fuse in the engine bay (door is more ECU controlled now, can't easily just wire to the latch). I've done enough splicing, some which didn't work correctly, I'm just done with that lol, yesterday had a blinking engine light, maybe I didn't ground correctly. It went away, but man, when I looked up what blinking meant it spooked the shit out of me for even driving with it on.

Yea, in most cases, to relearn, you would have to disconnect the battery for at least 15 minutes for a relearn to enable. If you feel a difference now, then u can disregard lol

It is not as nice as a Honda shifter, thats for sure. It still gets the job done. Feels more stiff, not as buttery smooth as the Type R's gearbox

hmmm... good question. they're very different cars with different purposes. The Si would be a better daily, but the BRZ is more fun. The BRZ is quicker out of the box, by a lot, but the si gets better gas mileage and is more comfortable. it depends on what you want the car for

That rule doesnt apply to all cars. For this car, using an aftermarket intake with the sane size tube at the MAF sensor does not require a tune

@@Camhill182 ok cool. Just wondering since I’m used to seeing ppl modify wrxs and Sti’s and they say you need a tune for almost every performance mod you do. Also what’s do you think the best entry price catback would be for this car. I don’t get mine till June and I can’t wait to modify it

I haven't heard too many of the exhaust systems in person for this car, but entry level? probably that would be the MXP Comp cat-back exhaust

too many people for me. way too much traffic literally all the time. the roads are awful and need repaving, loose gravel all over the streets everywhere. Its too far from my work so I hate my commute. theres construction everywhere and everything is a mess and dirty all the time. did I mention traffic? I miss the mountains in California and the more gentle nature of northern california

@@Camhill182 that! Is completely understandable. That sounds like Indianapolis. Literally have to avoid potholes cause If I don't they are so big they damage my front bumper and underside and wheels. Northern Cali is beautiful but to many laws against car culture for my personal taste.
