all the host segments from MST3K. These are from the KTMA episodes AKA season 0. Took me awhile to find and edit these clips together, so i hope you enjoy!

I'll be honest, I kinda love these. The KTMA era has a special "bunch of friends putting on a show" feeling.

That's how I've always felt about the host segments, they're charming and can make me laugh.

Wow, looking at Gypsy, Servo and Crow is like looking at the Pokemon Red and Blue sprites.

These are really rough, but, like, in a charming sort of way. In some of the segments there's a stapled packet of papers on the desk that Joel keeps peeking down at. I'm pretty sure that he's reading from the script! And you gotta love Joel's shaggy hair.

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING THESE TOGETHER! KTMA host segs are my guilty MSTie pleasure. They're just so raw and fun, it's impossible not to smile, especially when bots fall apart or other shit goes totally haywire, and they just sort of run with it.

fun fact: the episodes where crow was a tree or where joel was lock outside the ship were days we're they didn't show up for work and everyone else just kept filming and everything they did was improvised on the spot.

Not to mention Joel did Gamera by himself despite being joined by J. Elvis in the host segments, with J. Elvis reprising his Crow role in the flashback from K01 (yes, Trace wasn't in the first episode) and Trace's second absence where Crow was disassembled and Dr. F was in Vegas for a mad scientists' convention.

That's just it: I may never watch these in the compilations you made. Without the proper context, a lot of these won't be as funny. But then again I might. So I'm copying the link & sending it to myself so I'll know where to find them. Thx. 😉😊

I've seen very little of this period. There's something oddly charming about it. Though the robots are kinda creepy .__.

Incredible. Thanks so much for uploading this. It looks like something that was salvaged from a ship wreck, I love it. Joel's hair!

Dan Quayle was the vice president of the U.S.A. around 1989-1990. Servo's "Kermit voice" is really funny.

A glimpse of days long gone.. When not everything was pre canned and pre approved by the corporate bigwigs. When you could be spontaneous and make mistakes.. Mistakes are good! Reminds me of the movie VHS.. All the cool stuff is GONE

tom servo likes awesome they should of kept the silver for another season. he looks like that because when they were building the puppets original tom servo wasn't built they original they built a robot called beeper he had the silver tom servo but the head wasn't a gumball machine it was a clear plastic cookie jar with a small robot head inside which looked cool.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a spoof of Frank Miller's Ronin. In school, kids spent two hours talking about Baxter Stockman and his "Mousers". Ninja Turtle-mania fizzled in 1994 as kids watched Power Rangers on TV.

K01 and K02 have been released. So you should edit those in there, and I think there's a few host segments from K03 floating out there somewhere.
While i appreciate the feed back, I have no intention on tracking down the missing episodes (yes i know they've been found) and re-editing this. I've lost my master file and would have to start from scratch. I've since moved on to other projects and simply do not have the time to pursue this any further then I already have. I hope you enjoy what I have already created and if not, I invite you to create your own version with the missing episodes.

Pretty crude when they started but they had a budget of next to nothing. Good stuff

+robert stroffolino Yes, I know where to find HQ versions of all K01-K04 host segments. CameraKiller (the guy below me) has them. :3

+CameraKiller™ You have a video that has HQ KTMA host segments, and they are from the K01-K03 episodes. I commented on it. Are you the one who uploaded that?
@SouthwesternEagle8 жыл бұрын
+robert stroffolino Look up MST3K KTMA Rare Footage. The video is around 21 minutes long, and it's on CameraKiller's channel. I can't link because I'm on mobile.
that is an understatement. but keep in mind these were made with what they quite literally found laying around the studio.

+NaiTaiDai It comes into perspective when you realize each episode had a budget of about 100 bucks. I'm pretty Sure you can't make a 5 minute video Today unless you have like twice as much.
