I know people in show business always thank their fans, because the fans make it all possible. But we should thank the MST3K people for humoring us all these years. As a light-to-moderate nerd I sometimes feel uncomfortable at how intensely I have loved this show since I discovered it in 1994 during a low point in my life.

After suffering with American Idol, Mystery Science Theater 3000 deserves to be brought back.

What was this FOR ? A seemingly random ( but wonderful ) bunch of our favorite folks, showing how the eras all know and watched each other . . . a certifiable thrill to see Joel bounce off Bill and such . . but what was going on just a couple months before Joel announced the reboot that would bring this grouping together ?

There's a little known fact about the Invention exchange where the Mads came up with the Troll costumes: a fan had dressed an orange haired troll doll as Dr Forrester and had brought it along to the live shows at the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis and showed it to the guys. (Trace and Frank at least; I was there, but it's been a few years.) That explains the college girl angle, anyway.

Joel has not aged.

Does anyone know the dynamics of the changes in MST3K and today's subsequent RiffTrax? I always assumed Joel stepped away from the cameras, but stayed involved in his creation in some capacity, when Mike took over the stage side. I also just assume that one or more of the owner/ producers kept the RiffTrax crew from just continuing the original format with the theatre and bots. and that doesn't make sense because, I'm pretty sure I heard that Trace, Joel, a producer and Kevin Murphy owned MST3K, and we know Kevin, who is amazing, Is part of RiffTrax. Didn't mean to ask a forever question just curious why we don't see RiffTrax in the old format anymore. Maybe they got tired of the puppeteering... ?? Maybe the format is now owned by Comedy Central or the Sci Fi Network? Thanks!

So the reason for having Gypsy join the guys for five minutes in Hercules and the Captive Women was because the opening credits had too much narration, as having her be inexperienced over bad movies and riffing would pass the time. Makes sense, though it's a shame she couldn't stay for more than 5 minutes mostly because that puppet is very heavy behind the scenes, and trying to speak in a jarring falsetto for too long would possibly put a strain on vocal chords. That's a shame, she was my favorite bot back when I was a kid.

Uh, to the Cameraman: That's why cameras are set up on tripods that CLEAR THE HEIGHT OF THE AVERAGE PERSON.

I love MST3K so much but I loathe the San Diego Comic Con, so I missed out.

Between people constantly walking in front of the camera, stand still so you can't see anything or anyone then walk away and another person standing in front, then someone's hand sticks way up in front of their faces, this video is unbearable to watch. Needed a professional video camera person standing high up out of other annoying people's way and film them.
