Hey, I'm in this movie, in the crowd in the witch burning scene! My greatest achievement: Being in a movie bad enough to be good enough for MST3000!

My old history teacher let us watch this in his classroom during our lunch period, so in turn for his birthday I got him a tshirt that says "This is where the fish lives!"

My nightly therapy, puts me right to bed with the carelessness of being a teenager and watching this on cable back in the 90’s. I miss those days.

The line "Oh, and go Packers, but mostly burn the witch" is a callback to THE GIANT SPIDER INVASION, which also featured Robert Easton.

"Well, the plot's not going to unfold itself..." - how I love MST3K - it's like watching something with my sarcastic friends on their best days, but they are at their best during every episode 😉

So Carnation got word about this film called 'The Touch of Satan' and said, yes, this is definitely something our brand should be associated with.

"A kind of hip Satan who solves crimes" What an absurd notion! (goes back to watching _Lucifer_)

Not to be missed.....this is among the very best from the MST3K series......full of laughs at the old lady's expense.

The best thing about this movie is that, with how badly paced the dialogue is, they can riff on it and somehow barely talk over the movie.

In going back to the seventies, this was the kind of third feature you'd see at a drive-in in late November when, for some reason, the car wouldn't start until this ended . . . two hours after the snack bar closed. I still have frostbite flashbacks.

The 70's were a much simpler time, when 300 dollars and a maverick could take you anywhere you wanted. Like into the clutches of the Dark Lord!

This is my favorite episode. "Come sit with meee and Satan tooo He's your friend and miiine"

This entire episode is one of my favorites, but the opening credit sequence in particular has some of the strongest riffing I've ever heard in such a compacted length of time.

“You smell like canned tamales” is one of my all time favorite lines.

"I'm not going back, Jim." -- one of my favorite lines. Along with being on Clu Gulager alert.

Not sure if anyone else caught this, but at 34:41, when Jody says "she's an old woman" and the riff goes on "they don't know what they're doing half the time" is a reference to a line in 12 Angry Men.

It's funny that the gas attendant who's riffed saying "Nope. I'm still at large." looks a lot like John Wayne Gacy.

I love the chemistry of Kevin Mike and Bill. Most of my favorite episodes come from these three.

I love the all the ZAAA! In this film, but I lament the lack of chicken, corn, peppers, chili (sigh) onions...

Saw this with my parents in 1974-75 at a 2nd/3rd run drive-in. I was four or five - Lucinda haunted my dreams for a week!!!

There's something about the vibe of this movie that I actually do find creepy on its own...despite the fact that it is also one of the funniest episodes of the show.

This was always my favorite MST3K. I have laughed at the same jokes in this ad honestly as the first time every one of the hundreds of times I’ve watched this. I’ve never had that with anything else. Like to tears everytime they say it’s,”where the fish lives.” Its uncanny. And amazing. Grandma rotten apple face. Ahhh golden everytime.

Murderous Grandma Servo deserved to be a recurring character. Also, I never expected multiple Herbert von Karajan references across the entire series, much less in the same episode!

At about 41:38, this film actually makes a good directorial move for any horror, thtiller, or exploitation film by having Lucinda subtly show up in the background upstairs window. I missed this for a long time, and found it kinda creepy when I saw it.

This has been my favorite episode of MST3k ever since I was in high school 🥰

It really all goes downhill for Jody after the "ZA" incident.

This is easily in my top 5 favorites along with the Brain that Wouldn't Die, Samson and the Vampire Women, Manos and MITCHELL!

my headcanon for this movie is that Melissa has to keep Jody under a constant bewitchment so he doesn't notice how furtive and awkward she is...like, she says "this is where the fish lives" and thinks "d'oh, that was stupid, I'm blowing my chances with this guy" and casts a spell at him that's like being abruptly hit with the high of a full joint
