It's been a while since I brought out the razorblades, so to speak. Here now my long overdue extended edit of Donna Summer's "Our Love". This version is not vastly different from the original. Just more of a good thing. (Why mess too much with a perfect song?) Enjoy!

An absolutely beautiful melody with that opening line, "Dropping you this line to give you peace. And to set your weary mind at ease" Almost like a hymn. One of my favorite Donna Summer/Moroder recordings

The clubs, the strobe lights, disco ball, the clothes, the men and women everyone was sexy, the "anything goes" attitude...the late seventies were AWESOME!! And Donna Summer was such a huge influence in that era!

Everyone keeps writing that Donna Summer should’ve released Our live as a single!! Our live was released as a single August 22 1980 to be exact!! Boston radio stations played it big time in heavy rotation! From the Bad girl album I believe 6 songs were released as singles!! Either way the album was awesome and so was Donna!!!

I remember walking into clubs wearing the best brands and my perfume at the time was Molyneaux , when I passed the door to the track it was all wonderful to the high sound of the nightclub and the dazzling lights! good times! This in 1979 in Brazil!

I think in the middle of this, Moroder creates an instrumental bit which is basically house music. This is a perfect cross over disco to house example. Classic.
