Drivers for this machine can be found on Roland's website, the file is called PC60 Windows XP-2000 Driver. A lot of the manuals and set up guides are there too. These machines have very delicate print heads that are now almost impossible to find replacements for, so keep them away from grit and dust. It could be worth having a dust cover made up. Remember to clean the print media like it says in the instructions. Its a really nice machine though, very solidly built. There are not many machines that can print white ink and special metallic colours. Ribbons can still be bought on ebay both in the UK and US, a place in italy also sells them in bulk quantities. You might have to reload the casettes yourself but its not too hard.

Hello. My daughter found one of these and my kids all chipped in and purchased it for me. I have cartridges on the way - the only issue I have is that it did not come with the drivers and I can't seem to get the ones on the Roland site to work on my PC. Can you tell me how you were able to setup the drivers?

Wooow!! this is awesome! I was given one, from Germany and brought it to Ghana, unfortunate for me, the software CD is excluded. I have tried to downloading it on the net, but I found none. Besides my PC is not detecting any hardware if i plug inn. Can some one help give me some tip, where to get the software to get it functioning Please!?

You'll need to interface with the PC60 using a parallel cable (you can use a usb to parallel cable/interface to connect a newer PC). The driver only works with XP but can be downloaded from Roland. Great video. I stumbled upon your video. What software do you use? Do you use an illustrator or corel draw plug-in? Or a dedicated print and cut software? What year did you buy this printer/cutter. I know a lot of the newer Roland printers are eco-solvent, but I read those are pretty toxic. Thermal resin or latex or laser on polyester are the current solutions I'm looking into for my stickers. Are your stickers weatherproof and scratch proof?

Hi thanks for watching ♡ It was over a year and a half ago I bought this used from closed print shop. I'm Using FlexiSign 8 software which came with the equipment. I tried using Corel Draw but didn't have the learning curve time The stickers are weatherproof and scratch resistant and as long as you have enough Thermal resin cartridges this is a really cool piece to have ♡

What type of cable are using and do you have a newer computer? I have the same Roland and the cable connection is so old I cannot use an updated computer. I was thinking of getting rid of it even though it is a workhorse and has served us well for years :)

Use a USB to parallel interface/cable on a newer PC. You'll need to run XP though in a VM (like VirtualBox) as the Roland driver is XP only.

@@performancest Yes it was already pre installed onto an older computer as it wasn't compatible with the newer upgrades so you would to find something compatible sorry love ♡
