Probably my favorite Band Arrangement. I played this piece for my Regionals Band. It was an auditioned group where 6-7 counties were eligible to audition. I played Bass Clarinet and I had so much fun with my part. It was the first time I have ever played a super fun part throughout the entire piece. Not only was this piece fun for me, but all of the other players seemed like they were having fun and all of their parts sounded great as well. I can't express how much I love this piece and I would love to play this piece again sometime in my lifetime again. Well done Rossano Galante.

Jonathan Moysiuk. The first time you hear it. It’s sounds good. However after playing to some time, you realize the it is very cliché with a very dull counter melody. It sounds like any Disney song ever. I know I sound like a hater but I am saying this from a professional standpoint. All in all, it’s a tad unoriginal. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
@theraginginfernape9496
@theraginginfernape9496 4 жыл бұрын
@@tobysmith6196 I see your point, but also... unoriginal? The melody is solid and the chord progression isn't really one I'd hear in a Disney song, especially the sudden key changes. And dull and/or cliche could be used very flexibly.
@EdwardPrincess1901
@EdwardPrincess1901 4 жыл бұрын
Toby Smith The reason you find it to be that way is because Galante is a film composer and therefore the music does sound like a film soundtrack. It’s the style of music. Just because it isn’t your favorite genre doesn’t make it bad music. Personally, I get tired of Galante’s music because most of his pieces sound similar, but with a different melody. That doesn’t make it “absolutely horrible.” In the end, you will never compare to the talent or success that Galante has, so think before you’re so quick to judge.
@tobysmith6196
