I went there about the same time you uploaded the video. I really enjoyed the deep gap hike (To Craig mountain). Really nice views and a little bit of climbing.

Thank you for sharing this video...I have been coming here since the mid-1960s...I love the Black Mountains so much...of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

@@erxe2937 The Black Mountains are a range within the Blue Ridge Mountains...Mount.Mitchell being the tallest peak of the Black Mountains...Get educated...

Was so mad because my friend flew down here from Minnesota and we drove 3 hours from Knoxville to go to the observation deck. I even called beforehand to make sure that the state park was open. We drove all the way there only to see the entrance blocked because of covid. Granted the drive up blue ridge parkway was beautiful, just pissed me off. Fk covid.
