From a person who actualy lives in the dells i go here about twice a year its amazing

While this is still one of my favorite spots in the Dells, I think this place was better during my 2008 visit than during my 2022 visit. For example, most go-kart tracks like Trojan Horse and The Underground featured elevated sections of track that are now all gone, the indoor theme park used to be open year round with so much to do but is now open seasonally and barely has anything, about half the outdoor waterpark is gone and replaced by nothing, and they took out the two body slides in the waterpark claiming they were replaced by the slidewheel when they weren't actually replaced by anything.

Go over the sketchy safety issues. I think we will just do go carts and Pegasus 360 and some water slides and wave pools

Just watched this video and looks like a lot of fun and very interesting to go to in general, especially for a family reunion .

the outdoor waterpark was way better when I last went. They closed an entire section including two giant speed slides which were the best slides in the park. It also looked like they made the Poseidon's rage wave smaller

What are the safety issues? For you to mention that then not give any info was questionable?

Thanks for the video, my family and I are coming there next week and we are staying there so we get in free so I was curious how nice it was. I’m not sure how I feel about you saying at the end that there are some safety issues that your not going to get into. That’s definitely something that any parent would like to know and thats probably something that shouldn’t be held back. But video was very informative so thank you for posting

I always want to go to wisconsin dells

The Dells is the best. Noah's Ark all the way but there's plenty to do in the entire city to keep you busy for at least a week. Mount Olympus is super sketchy though. First timer last month and it was everything I expected - good and bad - mostly bad.

"We don't have a security team." Excuse me??? "We don't have a security team, and we don't have very many cameras." The supervisor at Mt Olympus told me after my son had been assaulted by a GROUP of more than six "guest"! My church has a security team! The mall has a security team! Every single Dave and Busters has a security team! Yet, a resort that serves alcohol and admits thousands of people every day DOESN'T HAVE A SECURITY TEAM?!?!? Worse yet, we were informed the attackers had caused a similar problem a few months back and they had been bullying their way through lines at the park ALL DAY, yet no action was taken to eject them from the park. My 13 year old son was standing in line on the metal staircase for the Medusa slide ride at Mt Olympus Sunday June 23rd, 2024, when several people were bullying through the line, AGAIN. He placed his hand on the railing and told them the rules said no line cutting. He was then grabbed, slammed into the railing, then onto the stairs by two late teens/early adults, then two or three more ADULTS and two CHILDREN from the same group joined in punching and kicking his face and the back of his head! Once other patrons became aware, they pulled the attackers off who then "left the premises". The supervisor stated they were guest of the hotel and he recognized them, but had no further information... No cameras, no security, nothing, we had to insist a report was made BEFORE EMS WERE EVEN CALLED! A guest at your resort was assaulted, took dozens of BLOWS TO THE HEAD, and CALLING THE POLICE WAS AN AFTERTHOUGHT!!! Of course they offered us wristbands to come back and be assaulted again! I witnessed people smoking in the park, as well as a group with a 30 can case of Heineken and 24 pack of bud light, mostly empty, crowding the table in front of four guest! Mt Olympus will serve that much alcohol, yet doesn't have a security team!!! If anyone wants to pay $40 for parking and risk lawless fight club action at a "family friendly" resort, I have no interest in returning unless serious changes are made!!!
