Tension filled the air at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) departure hall after hundreds were left stranded following flights cancellations to Sabah and Sarawak following the Mount Ruang volcanic eruption at Sulawesi, Indonesia.

British Airways Flight 009 is a better example. Took off from Subang to Perth, flew into volcanic ash, all 4 engines flamed out and nearly crashed.

Just to update everyone, I have safely arrived at my destination. It was a long processes but thankfully smooth operation. Thank you to Malaysia Airlines. I am utterly disappointed but at the same time I understood everything and accepted the facts. Can't blame much on anyone actually. For those who are curious about Madagascar, yeah it is reachable from KUL via Mauritius*(direct flight from KUL: KUL - MRU - TNR*). Another path is Doha; KUL - DIA - NRB/CDG - TNR). NRB is Nairobi, Kenya. CDG is Charles De Gaulle, Paris. What's interesting in Madagascar? I have been there for almost 3 years. Wait till I am free to make a video of that place. Surely an interesting place, I bet you. Thank you again for everyone's concern. Yes, better be safe than sorry.

Thank God I managed to catch a flight from KLIA to Miri on the early morning of 18th April @ 6.30am. Few hours after I landed then I read the news that all the flights afterwards were cancelled. My heart goes out to those who are still stranded at KLIA due to the natural disaster.

Why do people always complain about being tired after long flights . I have been on a lot of long flights and one that lasted about 30 hrs all in with two stop overs to change flights with one lasting 6 hrs and the other 8 hrs . Just imagine you just sitting at the airport and not even given food coupons . I wasn't tired when I arrived at Subang but was excited and wide awake to be back home . The jet lag only hits you after about 12 to 24 hrs .

Sabah and Sarawak are within the dangerous circle of explosion, which was centered in Sulawesi. Peninsula Malaysia is not within the circle, and Madagascar is on the west of Malaysia, so it is safe to travel at the time.
