MTA Bus | Introducing The New Flushing Busway
On January 19th, The MTA opened the new Flushing Busway along Main Street From The LIRR station, and College Point Blvd where Main Street Ends. This helps the Buses along Main Street move faster through Flushing. Here’s some bus action at Flushing Main Street.
I took this on the Weekend so no Q15A, Q17 Limited, Q20B, Q25 Limited, Q27 Limited, Q34, or Q65 Limited.

@@lgalink70sbs He isn’t wrong but is interpreting it wrong If you were actively recording certain people and not the vehicles it would make sense But since you weren’t and they just happened to be within the video frame Your not wrong Keep doing what you do

Who would watch almost 30 minutes of buses? My 2 year old son with a toy MTA bus. He’s riveted.

This is going to create more traffic flushing is no Manhattan you can't do what is done in Manhattan and apply it to flushing its going to create more problems. raise in bus/train fares which is more which is more money out of the pockets of middle/low income families. If MTA can manage its finances without taking more money from its customers that would be a start in solving one of many problems

In brooklyn on Fulton Street downtown they had it like this for years now and it's no problem. People that ride the buses always complain that the buses are too slow. What makes the buses slow is people parked in bus lanes trucks or TLC cars uber etc.... cyclist riding in bus lanes pedestrians ignoring don't walk signs etc..... if NY enforced everything like other states there wouldn't be so much traffic problems. Also many streets lost lanes for traffic to bike lanes which creates more traffic

Is there a sign on northern blvd saying cars can’t turn right onto Main Street?

I haven't been there in person since the busway began, but if I remember correctly, cars *can* make a right turn onto Main Street. They just have to make another right immediately at the next block. So I'm not sure what the signage is but it ought to reflect that rule.
