The New Flyer D60HF "Galaxy" fleet was the first set of articulated buses purchased by the MTA in 1996, and were the only articulated buses in service nearly a decade, when the MTA ordered the 2010 Novabus LFSA fleet for the Bx12 SBS and M15 SBS. These buses ran out of the Kingsbridge, Gun Hill, and West Farms depots in the Bronx, the Michael J. Quill, Mother Clara Hale, and Tuskegee Airmen depots in Manhattan, and the JFK depot in Queens (a few were also sent to Baisley Park back in 2007-2008 to run on the Q113 to test if the line could handle articulated buses).
Their first run was on the Bx1 out of the Kingsbridge depot, and the last few runs were on the Bx1/2, Bx9, and Bx39 of the Kingsbridge depot. The vast majority of them were retired as the MTA purchased more articulated buses, namely the Novabus LFSAs and the New Flyer XD60s (New Flyer's successor to the D60HF).
In this video, you'll see these buses in service along several routes in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens, including some onboard ride-along shots as well (timestamps for those clips are 0:40:50, 0:43:02, and 1:14:33). The routes seen here are the Bx1, Bx2, Bx5, Bx6, Bx9, Bx12, Bx15, Bx19, Bx22, Bx26, Bx28, Bx32, Bx36, Bx40, Bx41, Bx42, M14A, M14D, M15, M86, M100, M101, M102, M103, and Q10, as well as the (2) Train Shuttle, (4) Train Shuttle, and (6) Train Shuttle. You'll also see shots of the Novabus LFSAs and New Flyer XD60s that replaced these buses.
