Considering that farts are pre-filled with highly pressurised air and gas, what would happen if a fart landed on the Third-Rail?

@@PSYCHIC_PSYCHOok so just like if they say gas roaming the air, do not flip a light switch in your house or anywhere, you’ll create an explosion, or be in huge danger (because any light you turn on, or anything with a button sparks on use) I can imagine the same basic instructions, that if you fart next to electricity you’ll create a small boom next to it. The thing is about third rail, it’s just activated. Until a train arcs next to it, with its contact shoes, I don’t think you can create a spark, because you aren’t doing anything in terms of using third rail. The trains are. While it’s connected to all lines and everywhere and is ran by a system to enable it, it takes the box to turn on all the tracks electricity. Farting on it while it’s already on, may do nothing but get yourself ran over in the test. If a train was running by it setting it off to keep the train moving, I think you would get the explosion, but it’s just sitting there moving many electronics per day. I think farting on it would just be farting on it.

They say a light switch everytime you flip it sparks, on or off. Because nothing is being done to the third rail, I think you’re just farting near it. You’re not touching it or doing human action such as turning it on or off, and then performing the fart (or gas danger), therefore the third rail is just there until something is being done to it (dangerous enough where they say at that point don’t touch any lights)

Alstom OPTONIX is legendary. Good to see it propelling the sweetest set of wheels in NYC!

The propulsion kinda reminds me of the r68 motors when decelerating from a high speed

I still wonder the full implementation of the platform display will take place.

The N and Q Should Get New Trains Over I know they use the R46 since the 1970s

Almost reminds me of the SEPTA train on the Market-Frankford line lol. As far as sounds is concerned.

Are they optonix drive? cause that would explain it. The trains are built by kawasaki but use alstom optonix as a drivetrain.
