Riding a summit with a mountain bike over 3300 m is already exceptional in France. But riding 3 peaks in the same day... For that, we had to go to the wild Ubaye and go up a huge valley on a trip of more than 30 km. We have thus succeeded in chaining the Bric de Rubren (3340 m), the West Salsa peak (3328 m) and the East point (3312 m).
Each summit has very specific difficulties: The Bric de Rubren is a very technical and exposed ground with pile of angular rocks, the West Salsa (normal route) is a huge very steep and sliding gravel slope, and the East Salsa is a succession of slabs and cutting rocks. So much diversity was an incomparable pleasure to ride. And watch the video until the end: because there were unforgettable riding moments until the last kilometer!
