*IMAI 1/12 Harley-Davidson
This is the second motorcycle model.
This time, I made a Harley-Davidson.
I love Harley, especially vintage Harley Knucklehead.　
Harley's materials are abundant, so we will add details based on those abundant materials.
There are as many custom Harley's as there are stars, but I think that custom is a feature of Harley's motorcycle.
I like the bobber type, so this kit will also be the bobber type.
Harleys are characterized by the shape of their heads. This kit is an Evolution, Blockhead and was produced at the same time as the Softtail.
It is a mid-80s head next to flats, knuckles, pan, and shovels, but I made it vintage with the knuckle head in mind.
Engine
This kit captures the hallmarks of a Harley, but omits a lot.
Added hoses, wires, bolts, carburetors, unknown parts found on the net, caps, brake parts, etc.
Especially since the carburetor was only a stick, I used the Bendix that fits this EVO as a reference.
Frame
Added weld marks to the frame.
Wheel
The front wheels are spokes.
I used 0.4mm stainless steel wire.
If you use a pipe with a diameter of 0.4 mm, the nipple will be thicker, so the thickness of the paint will represent the nipple.
Carefully drill a hole in the hub, score the rim and glue the stainless wire.
The trick is not to stop in the middle.
Front fork
Since the inner fork is a little thin, replace it with a 2.6φ aluminum pipe.
Rear wheel
It's a belt drive.
I reproduced the teeth of the belt wheel, but when I assembled it, I couldn't see it at all.
Changes from kit
Rear fender, seat and muffler.
Painting
Paint the tank in dark red and the fender in white d for weathering.
For paint peeling on the tank, wash with enamel or weathering color based on lacquer hull red → silver, blow metal primer, apply lacquer, and rub with tissue or cotton swab.
Motorcycle lifter
I used a Motorcycle lifter I found on Pinterest as a reference.
I made it work.
I enjoy building a motorcycle garage because just looking at it heals me.
Next is 1/9 Harley-Davidson.
It's a Harley again, but I'll make it cool, so let's meet again!

Amazing work. I've been riding and wrenching on Harleys for 30 years and I've been building models for 45 years. I have a couple Harley kits that I would love to do this type of diaroma with. Thank you for the inspiration.

ガレージを再現するモデラーは多いけどコレは雰囲気抜群だなあオイル垂れした木の床なんで塗ってるとこ見るとえっ！？ってなるのに完成すると見事な雰囲気になるのがすごい

Yes, now it's either a flat head WLA or an expensive metal kit. Alternatively, look for inventory or use an auction.

Engine that you made is not Evolution motor. Only rocker covers look Evo style rocker covers. But certainly, heads and cylinders are those of late Shovel 's. It's not your fault the model company's mistake.

@@dhammikathushara5431 This kit was made in Japan 20 years before Imai. It is already out of production. In Japan, people buy them at auctions or search on the Internet. However, the selling price at the time was $200, but now it's around $1000. I purchased this kit from the USA on eBay. I think the easiest way is to buy at auction. Thank you😊

the rear seat needs to be on top of the rear fender for more detail ; look up red acorn bolts

@Easy modeler's room I think you can make them easy with your skill level the 70s bikes were much different then today's bikes ohh easy riders I's a old magazine and is a great place for info with lots of pictures 📸 David Mann was a artist for the magazine and does a great job capturing the feeling of being a biker .iam very impressed with your talent with these models well done and look forward to your next endeavor.... side note have a look at today's bike and the customization of them the short of it they want it to make wheelies so a lot of Chopin happens the the rear-end and bags road glide street glide Electra glide and older fxr.

Even in Japan, the price of this kit is very high. Harley-Davidson models are not newly made by any manufacturer.

Most of them are 150cm to 160cm tall. The weight is around 50kg, and when the engine stalls, it takes a long time to restart.

今回も大変参考になる制作工程を見せていただきありがとうございます。私もイマイのハーレーは何台も作りましたが、作り手によってこうも素晴らしい物になるのかと感心しました。古いキットですがあと２台カスタムバージョンがあるのでまた作ってみようと思います。

Vraiment fabuleux !!! Mais une petite question : pourquoi des plaques de course sur un chop Harley ? A priori, celle-ci n'est équipée pour aucun type de compétition, drag, dirt, speed, records ... C'est original mais très décalée par rapport à la vie réelle

Au Japon, il y a une course privée où les courses Harley se déroulent sur la plage, et la course se déroule dans son propre style, et il n'y a pas de style défini. Basé sur les courses de la côte ouest des États-Unis. Merci pour votre commentaire.

いつも素晴らしい動画を楽しみにしていますクランクケースとヘッドカバーはEVOですけど、シリンダーとシリンダーヘッドはショベルと言う見たことないエンジンですねｗｗハーレーダビッドソンをよく知る人間からするとこのプラモデルのキットのせいなのか、Easy modeler`s roomさんの緻密で細かい作業をメーカーが邪魔してしまっていて若干残念です

こんにちはイマイ科学は2000年初頭に倒産して、このキットも20数年前のキットです。今井科学はハーレーのキットに関しては軍用から民間まで様々な派生モデルをキット化していました。今の様に3D CAD設計でもなく、メーカーの資本的な体力から金型も流用されていた時代で、スケール的なものを含めて考証的には突っ込み所は多くあります。そう言った意味で詳しい方からするとえっ？って思われるのだと思います。古き良き模型のキットだと思って作っています。素晴らしいコメントとても嬉しく思います。ありがとうございます。
