I had the privilege to talk to Mr Mteto Nyati. He is currently Chairman at Eskom as well as the technology and business consulting firm BSG. Previously, he has been CEO at Altron, MTN South Africa (SA) and Managing Director at Microsoft SA. He came in at both MTN and Microsoft during difficult times and managed to turn both companies around. At Altron, he had managed to make the shareholders 6x wealthier by the time of his departure.
In this video, we discuss largely his unique ability to turn around struggling business.

Very interesting point about self awareness, when I look at an accomplished executive such as Mr Mteto, I immediately ask the same question, of why they haven't started their own business. That's the level of self awareness one just has to now strive for🙏🙏

I completely love the sense of ownership of all your life's journey and experiences. The sense of humanness permeating through each stage of your life gives us relief and a level of normality, just to know that it's Ok to fail, not live up to perfection and yet decide to pursue excellence with lessons acquired and optimizing all opportunities guaranteeing great success. Great interview! And awesome questions from the interviewer. Truly we are all set up to succeed, if we focus on short comings we rarely see the opportunities that exist. We become reactive and victim minded and wait for saving. 💡💡💡
