First, I want to apologize, other content creators have already made decks similar to this one. So if you have seen that video, good for you, but I want to make a point on the older version of Root Deck, I just don't like its strategy, Don't get me wrong, self mill was solid, but it only has Insidious Roots as its wincon and the player keeps on milling themselves until they mill Roots on the graveyard (with no way of retrieving them). like why? Didn't they know deadly cover-ups exist?
That is why on this deck, even though I don't do the self-mill route (since I don't like the idea), at least it could win on its own even without Roots. (just don't do it the way I play, which to the point I could lose due to low life)

FWIW I think you are a criminally underrated content creator and I've been trying to spread the word about you when I'm able. Your tweaks on decks are really refreshing and I enjoy watching what you put out there.

I completely agree with your take on insidious roots decks and run a similar list. I don’t run gix not sheoldred because of the price tag but I’ve been thinking about buying them. I also don’t run dirge because I find it seems to run poorly with my decklist. I run annihilating glare, trespasser, and devious cover ups for more interaction. I appreciate your list. I’ve been considering gix and glissa sunslayer for a while now. Thank you for the content.

oh man i have touch paper magic for a long time.. anyway i dont know what youre deck list is, but if ill choose between gix and glissa, i recommend glissa which have more utility. i dont include glissa in this deck due to it dont hit artifact (since synthesizer was popular) plus my strategy was to aggressively draw out roots sheoldred only job was to regain some life, so you dont need her if you have other way to regain some life or could win the game as fast as you lose life dirge can also fetch roots from the library and copy it by kaervek you might also consider preacher of schism (if the price is cheap)
