Hey Dev! I just wanted to say as someone who is terrible at making decks. This channel was and is a life saver for me. I first got into Magic back around Kaladesh. I still use a modified version of your Torment of Hailfire deck as my historic ranked deck on Arena.

hey dev im wondering if i played you in the lotr draft around plat rank. we were both locked with flyers while you used the artifact that lets you add a +1 counter if you pay X where X is the power. we were locked for like 6 turns and then you dropped the balrog and pushed through. if it was then GG BRROOOOOO

Cool deck, not much to add but to say that i don't think benalish sleeper and serra paragon really loop, though getting a second use and some life can be really good on its own

There's video proof of it working at the end of the deck tech. Why wouldn't it work, anyway? Paragon let's you cast the card from your graveyard. If you're casting a card, it can be kicked. Absolutely no reason it shouldn't work

@@devinrandall4538 The point isn't that it doesn't work, but rather that it's not as repeatable as it was made to seem. You don't have infinitely repeating Sleepers. You have one extra before it kills itself to exile. It's not nothing, but it's not "over and over" either.

U mentioned dreams of steel and oil in your sideboard removing planeswalkers. It unfortunately only hits creatures and artifacts. The Serra paragon loop with benalish sleeper only works once, because after it gets exiled. Nice deck otherwise.

I'm mostly salty about LOTR cards being alchemy legal I had a good time playing with rebalanced ninja and disturbed creatures in there and its all over now
