Take a look at the reports about Florida when immigrants don't go to work. Fields untended, construction sites empty. They keep talking fentanyl when it is US citizens bring it in. We, as a country, use migrant labor for many jobs. If we close the border it means they try and get in illegally. It is like prostitution--you won't get rid of it, you'll just relocate it--and by driving it underground you make it available for organized crime to take advantage of.

Many people believe that America is simply too big and too powerful to collapse but many people also believed that about the Soviet Union. No one in 1985 would have believed that the USSR, the mighty "Evil Empire,” would be a disintegrating mess in 5 years. Each has its own congress, each has its own senate, each has its own governor, and each has its own supreme court. They are part of a trade union with a bill of rights called "The United States" and each has delegated their authority to the trade union. Ironically, when States left the trade union in 1861, the unionists forced them to rejoin at gunpoint. To put that into contrast, if you joined a trade union, found you didn't like it, left, and unionists came to your house to arrest you.

Not calling white people racist and white supremacist doesnt have the same acceptance as not calling a black person the N word. There is no abbreviations for racist yet, if she said "the R word" or the "WS words" no one would know what she was talking about. And if you are calling a white person racist when they are not a racist, it is racism, because your saying because they are white they are racist. Because of their skin color that automatically makes them a racist, like people saying that black people cant be racist, so only immutable white skin can be racist. That in of itself, is racist. So i think thats where MTG was coming from.

Impeaching Biden once on a long shot would pretty much declare the process for what it became, a partisan power grab / talking point. Trump was impeached but never convicted, so by all accounts, he was never guilty.
