Wilderness reclamation and lay line of anticipation combo multiplies your mana each wilderness reclamation

One card that I think might be a bit better than it looks is Cauldron Familiar. The combo with Witch's Oven is actually pretty sweet, giving you a way to slowly drain out your opponent while keeping up an annoyingly persistent blocker, and it just gets better the more ways you have of sacrificing it and making food to bring it back.

Great call. I don't think people are registering how good the copies of fable are. In brawl that card was absolutely dominant and won me alot of games

Brazen Borrower for the return to the mill side of Folio. Between that, the common that returns, and things like frogify. It's very costly to play against. I was able to keep my opponent to at least 5 cards in hand, and milled every turn. It surprised me with how well it all worked!

Bant Ramp list with Banish into Fable and Dance of the Manse and Taken by the Fae, that focuses around enchantments and artifacts (And actually uses Lucky Clover) with adventures like the mythic rare giant that boardwipes who's name I forget and rose thorn acolyte. THEN slap mirrormade in there to copy your enchantments (like dovins veto). There, that's like half of the cards that were brought up in this video.

Honestly, I feel like Syr Konrad is a major sleeper, having only the casual and limited crowds talking about him. I could see him being great in an aristocrats deck alongside Teysa and Cruel Celebrate, along with being able to enable himself if you run out of creatures to sac. He can also find a home in the Dimir(Esper?) mill deck that’s shaping up.

Ever since Dance of the Manse has been previewed, my brain can't wander away from it. I also plan to build it as esper, can't wait to try it.

With regards to urza's standard pre-bannings, the game was basically decided by the die roll before the match because the decks basically won turn 1. Sure it might take another 10 turns to technically win but there's no coming back from being that far behind. After the bannings it was pretty sweet. Alas that marks the beginning of the trend towards more powerful creatures and weaker spells.

Kenrith, the returned KING has good Abzan abilities, +1/+1 counters, 5 life and mid-range graveyard reanimation.

I like how the honorable mention is the one that got banned lol. The sleeper of the sleepers.

Clackbridge Troll can eliminate its own downside with Hush. No etb triggers. Dance of the Manse and Banish into Fable might be more playable in a Bant deck.

Brad Nelson is demonstrating the power of Wicked Wolf today and I think I'm going to pre-order even though I don't have an exact idea. It passes the Oko Test which means it's going to have value. If we're talking Brawl decks, I like Faerie Formation. Likely too slow and fails the Oko Test, but 4 mana to draw a card, make a creature all on a 5/4 Flying body that isn't legendary? I'll take that. Ultimately, we're going to treat every artifact and creature like we do Insants with Teferi. Is it good as a 3/3 with no text?

It may be on your top 50, but I would call Tournament Grounds a major sleeper. An untapped tri-land that is tailor made for a pushed tribal archetype that already had a handful of extremely playable cards? Especially an agro knights build that runs low to the ground if you are so inclined? That's crazy. And it's perfectly good in a 2 color knights deck too.

Esper controller mill has worked for me probably half the time. Every once in awhile I see someone with like 80 card or if I am milling a deck that wants cards in the graveyard and I don't have ashiok yet then they start killing me pretty quickly. I enjoy it though usually people see the writing on the wall with like 10 cards left and nothing on the board

Folio of Fancies and Narset feels like something important to bring up

For my part, I'm not sure Folio of Fancies actually goes in the hypothetical mill deck that's coming together. It's essentially competing for a slot with Drowned Secrets, and I'm pretty sure Drowned Secrets is better. It kind of depends on how all-in you want to go on the mill plan.

I feel like stolen by the fae is less than it could be because the text doesn't read x or less. Meaning if you only have 1 low cmc target you can't load a bunch of Mana into it to get a bunch of guys.

I liked this video before watching because I know this video will be good.

The problem with stolen by the fae is you need the exact mana cost of the creature you can't overpay for it and get a bunch of fairies

[[Epic downfall]] is my number one sleeper card. It exiles the cavaliers(green one in particular), among other things. Yes murderous rider is 🔥 I get that. I'm just saying in new standard the ability to exile on epic downfall is gonna make it a big sideboard card

There's definitely a woodland champion build in green black splash blue with oko. I'm gonna figure out the perfect brew for it!

We are in the age on mini Teferi. A 3 drop that bounces, draws cards, gives you instant speed sorc while opponent cant counterspell or play instant speed. If you dont play blue white and mini tef you are always playing at a disadvantage. Shame that standard revolves around 1 card nowadays. Makes for less variety.

Hushbringer + Clackbridge Troll + Blood for Bones = absolute degeneracy; the hushbringer prevents the goats from being summoned and you can keep bashing them with your 8/8 or forcing them to sacrifice their real creatures. When they manage to kill your troll, you simply use Blood for Bones to bring it back. Eventually, you drop Ethereal Absolution, which kills the goats immediately so you no longer need hushbringer.
