Excellent art choices for Marie, winning not only style points, but þe game as well-- but I'm biased toward W/B/x. And when I'm playing reanimator, I'm no stranger to sorting valid targets in my grave, but seeing Seb's hubris in using an actual separate pile was like seeing þe tower of babylon in game form, impressive, but ominously hubristic

The artwork for Anikthea is my favourite! I so wish I enjoyed her more as a commander, I hope she gets more support as I’d absolutely reconsider building her again

Really back and forth game with 1 too many boardwipes in the end. The rest of the table played more 2/2s than Max did, which surprised me. Only 2 of them by t6. Maybe just unlucky draws. I play Duskana so was rooting for her 🤗 Let me know if Max would like my decklist

i hope it would be possible to visualize the stack of card activation. That's the only part i can't keep up but nost of the time no issue.

I cannot believe Seb destroyed a Smuggler's Share instead of a Mending of Dominaria on it's second chapter when Marie had been discarding lands all game thanks to Land Tax. I'm curious what the thought process was there. Maybe he got too confident and thought it wouldn't matter?

I love Anikthea and was cheering for her to win. I was confused about one thing. How come at 3:15 Marie puts two plains in the grave which i imagine is cause of land tax, but then at 3:35 she puts the plains back in hand? Did she miscount her hand size?

I guess because sometimes your opponents graveyards (and/or boards) are more dangerous than yours and you need to deal with them at any cost.

@@fallsenseless9699another way to use cards like that is to sandbag a bit since you know it's in your hand and let everyone else over commit and then you can wipe

Also it let's you select the mode, you don't pick the option that affect you unless you need to.

@@irisnegro also true but ig with how I build decks and finding it hard to make cuts I personally wouldnt run a card for that cmc that didnt get multiple modes. Maybe should change that with certain cards.

At the beginning of the game, the players draw 7 cards. They have the option to "keep" those cards or "mulligan" to draw a new set of cards. Each time they do this, they get to keep one less card. So saying that they "keep" these cards is saying that they have chosen to start the game with those cards.

For alot of different reasons people don't always have the best cards or want to play whatever the best cards are. They don't need the internet berating them on card choices if you dont like it go kick rocks. Don't need that negativity here.
