We’re planning a major renovation: large kitchen, master bathroom, laundry room and the entire main floor of the house. We are under contract for a salvage company to do the demolition and haul away. They are a resaler and are affiliated with Habitat for Humanity so we’re getting a tax deduction, keeping things out of the landfill and saving $$$$$! It’s a win/win/win! 😃

Really interesting, I bet the data would look very different in different countries, because of cost differences as well as differences in taste. For example, panelled appliances in the UK are quite common and really not that much more expensive, so would probably be a better ROI than countries where they are less common and therefore more expensive. But large fridges (we call them 'American') are really pricey. Also I don't think OTRs have ever really been a thing here 😂
