Throughout his tenure, Russert interviewed Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Newt Gingrich, among other top political figures. He is the longest-serving moderator in the show’s history and the creator of its famous tagline: “If it’s Sunday, it’s Meet the Press.”

The best political journalist of all time ..I couldn't wait for Meet The Press on Sundays ..the most consistent journalist with the real questions that needed answered ..Tim passed on my 30th birthday, never forget him and his impact on politics
