This sounds similar to the Red Line metro of New Delhi, India.

I'm glad to read that you're interested in my city's metro, that is Delhi Metro. Kindly check the Red Line on KZfaq . The Red Line is the first and the oldest metro route in Delhi, it was opened to public in 2002.
