My experience with the Savi Brachy therapy treatment. I go through my step by step experience from the day I started to the last day of radiation. If you have any questions to ask me I will be happy to answer any. This video is for support and real life experience with this treatment.

Went through the savi treatment after my lumpectomy for DCIS. I had two treatments per day for five days. I had no pain from the insertion or the removal today. I was awake for both. I was told to expect some itching from the healing process. For me this was a fairly easy process. Sleeping was uncomfortable because you can’t sleep on the SAVI side. I was very tired throughout, however, I tend to be tired in times of stress. The five days go by quickly. The daily treatments use up each day because they’re about 6 hours apart. I would repeat the procedure if cancer returns at another time and I’m a candidate. This is very doable. ❤

Hi Michelle, You did an excellent job with your video. I just went thru the entire process as you did. The team who took care of me was excellent. Just like you said, I had no pain during all of it but I took half of a pain pill the doctor subscribed for me each morning and each night. I’m now at home and I had my first shower today. Which was wonderful!! But, I realize now that my pain pills worked much more than I realized they did. Great Job Michelle!! I watched your video before and after. It helped my anxiety so much!!❤️

Hi Michelle, OMG thank you soooo much for this video. I'm getting surgery on the 22nd and then getting the savi treatment. I also suffer with anxiety and agoraphobia. The hospital will be my struggle. I'm going to keep a sleep mask on my eyes. Hoping this will help me not have as much anxiety.

I admire your courage and strength to share your story. I went through chemo and radiation 28 years ago . I had thyroid cancer and had my thyroids removed. I also have M.S.. I want you to know the fight/strength is within you. I am sending you prayers and lots of love. The one word of encouragement I want to give to you is "BELIEVE". May Gods love bless you always

Hey there! So I’m almost 3 weeks post SAVI treatment. The only difference in my story from yours is I was awake when they put the SAVI in me. The numbed me with a local anesthetic and it wasn’t bad at all! And I completely agree with how fast it is when they take it out and completely pain less. Modern medicine is incredible and I’m so thankful for it!!
