I think Liam has finally understood that all he needs to do is produce music that sounds like Oasis and forget trying to convince Noel to reform the band. Employ the best writers and musicians and keep the ball rolling. I’ve always had my doubts about Liam and been critical but he’s really trying to produce great music and further his career. This is a wonderful performance. Keep it coming

Hopefully he realizes his songwriting skills are really good, this album destroys his first album, the big difference is that he wrote/co-wrote every song on this one.

Jagnoor Singh Jay Mehler post Beady Eye is the son-in-law of Ringo Starr hence Beatles reference with Liam. High Flying Birds replaced Tim Smith guitarist previously with Sheryl Crow with Gem Archer previous lead guitarist from Oasis. It’s a close nit assemble for the Gallagher’s sound machine.

Sadly MTV unplugged is no longer relevant as it was in the 90s...i mean everybody go acoustic for whatever reason..back in the days was the exception and Liam never got it until 20 years later..too late then to make history

Liam Gallagher not only has a special, unique quality to his vocal style, the man has soul! I detect a spiritual journey in his passion-he lives this out loud for the rest of us. He allows us realize our own heart’s innermost yearnings. Would you believe that at 50+ years old, I am only just now discovering Oasis and the Gallagher brothers? I am totally blown away!

His solo stuff is pretty decent... he doesn't try to reinvent the wheel like his brother but I think it wouldn't suit him... and his voice sounds so much better than in the last years of Oasis. Great performance!

It's been a time since I've listened to this man's voice. Every single one of these songs are new to me, as I haven't followed either of the Gallagher brothers, outside of the peak of the Oasis days. Having said that, this was an incredible way to spend 27 minutes. Thank you.

Impressive comment. It often takes pain and discomfort and some form of loss to promote personal , spiritual growth and if we are lucky enough we get to where we need to be in life. This has been the the thing that comes through in all of Liam's recent interviews.....he is a new man no matter his pros and cons.....we all have our strengths and weaknesses.

that's why in some interviews everytime he's asked whether he has any regret or some sort he said he doesn't, everything happens for a reason. never expected he would reinvented himself this well, was very skeptical when he announced he's going solo. we need to remember oasis, especially liam, was in decline prior to the breakup, beady eye was a disappointment commercially, and he had some tough years, but he's rising from the ashes.

2022. Liam Rock Star = 10 Liam career = 10 Liam voice = 10 Liam last three albuns = 10 Liam live = 10 Let's face the obvious. He has always been the soul of Oasis and has always been misunderstood. Now he's shown what it's like to be a leader and a true rock star. The solo career did Liam a good thing. Well done mate!

I'm amazed how Liam sounds good live these days... And his songs get so much better live than on the record too ! "For What It's Worth" is a good example : on the record it's a nice song, but live it becomes really powerful.

The sad thing is they haven't added in the versions of Sad Song, Cast No Shadow and Stand By Me. They were on here for a while but have been removed. Those 3 performances were the highlights, they were some of the best performances since the 90's.
