This show always amazes me. Usually it’s not even about the catfishes looks but the fact of being lied to. Some of these people have been in communication with these catfishes for literally years. When your trust gets broken to that extent I can’t even imagine how you’d try to repair your trust in a relationship.

My friend had something similar happen on a hinge date. As a women, it’s actually really scary. She was visibly uncomfortable throughout the date and then when she said she was going home, he insisted on following her. I think if you go to the extent of making a fake profile, there has to be something deeper going on surely, like psychologically? Being in a relationship with that level of insecurity is bound to be toxic I’d imagine.
