Ironically, this is the most "MTV" thing I've seen in like 20 years. It takes me back. MTV used to be all this kind of thing, all day long. It was truly extraordinary.

Sing street: best movie of 2016. It makes me smile and cry. I have nothing bad to say about it. Also, i want these guys to be a thing. They're cute and have amazing chemistry.

I went to Synge Street, which is the name of the real school depicted in the film and left in 1986; the year in which the story is set. I found it to be a charming little film that was accurate enough in terms of how the school was run and reasonably fair in terms of the levels of pupil-on-pupil and teacher-on-pupil violence. I particularly liked the way there was a mix of social backgrounds for the pupils, that was exactly what it was like... the poor kids who couldn't afford shoe laces and the rich kids whose (past pupil) fathers had made good... Nostalgia all the way :)

I read Pendragon (D.J.Machall), there's a character named Mark - messy black hair, thin, wearing glasses and squirm. This guy Mark looks exactly what I imagined that Mark character.
