You're assuming 1) they have use of a car for the entire trip and 2) they're trying to get to the coast As Quickly As Possible. Why would you assume these things?

So it is all about verisimilitude. Having lived a huge portion of my life there and crossing the state multiple times, the movie stretches the believability, well at least the trailer raises questions. Like I said, if you’re familiar with Oregon…It is like that movie Long, Dumb Road. If you are taking your time, it is a two day trip on I-10 from Austin to LA.

WHY HAVE A "TRAILER" WHEN THIS IS NOT EVEN A MOVIE?? I've had & seen MUCH more interesting events literally driving to the next town! Couldnt be more embarrassing.
