Eastern Canada here, some of the worst weather I can remember is a sleet storm we had in the mid 80's where we lost power for almost 2 weeks, there was roughly 1.5 feet of ice build up on the roads and so much ice on power lines they just snapped as well as some poles hence the power outage. A few years back we had roughly 24 feet of snow fall over the whole winter, was one of the worst I can remember.

Watching from Ontario Canada! Have about 12 inches of snow on average. Where the wind has blown it in, its up to your knee or waistline. Running a finishing beef operation. Buy them in at 900 or so pounds. Finish them off around 1,400/1,500LBS. Live on 250 acres. 625 head. With the wind chill the temperature has been -25c to -40c!

Yes, pretty cold and a lot of snow. As for the beef... Keeps my father, Uncle and I busy! As you would know, we try to do all the work, maintenance etc ourselves to help keep the cost of production in line. I'm 35 now. We use to milk a heard of 35 Holsteins when I was younger, but transitioned into beef full time when I was 7. @@TomPembertonFarmLife
