Tom Petty and Mike Campbell will be entertaining us with their great music for decades to come. RIP Tom, your music lives on forever.

I’m sure you’re correct. Keep in mind songs like Green Sleeves and a lot of the traditional Christmas music as well as a lot of classical music is 400 to 600 years old and people still listen to it everyday to this day. Who’s to say it’s not the same destiny for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Mudcrtch”s music. 🤘

Wow!! I came here from hearing this as the closing to the movie Appaloosa. What a great tune!!!

One of his best late-career gems. Full of fire to the end, Tom Petty never backed down, never scared easy.

Or Benmont Tench. They are both absolutely amazing musicians. Hooking those three up was the perfect storm... the whole is greater than the sum of the parts

@@ktagliam Dude, totally agree. Tom Petty was able to make great music because of those 2 guys. They are the Tom Petty "sound"....I love em both!! Both virtuoso artists, to boot!!! Sweet!!

YES!!!! I had those lyrics at the end of the chorus "for no one" in my head for a while and went through so many Petty songs looking for it and now I found it. Cool.

Love this!!! The smile on Marsh's face is great. You can also tell why Mike Campbell is soooooo dang good... look at how worn the fretboard is on his guitar.... that's a guy who logs a lot of practice

I really dig this latter-day Mudcrutch material with the wonderful Tom Petty playing bass and singing. Benmont Tench (keyboards) and Mike Campbell (guitar) are also in the Heartbreakers. This is so great. Very much up my alley!

One. Two. Three. Four. My love's an ocean. You better not cross it. Ooh ─ I've been the distance, and I need some rest. Yeah ─ I had somebody once, And, damn! If I lost her. I've been runnin’ like a man possessed. I don't scare easy. Don't fall apart, when I'm under the gun. You can break my heart, and I ain't goin’-a run. I don't scare easy, for no one. Yeah ─ I’m a loser, at the top of my game. I should have known to keep an eye on you. Now, I got us God, and it ain't never the same. Yeah ─ I got a dream that don't ever come true. I don't scare easy. Don't fall apart, when I'm under the gun. You can break my heart, but I ain't goin’-a run. I don't scare easy, for no one. Sun goin’ down on a canyon wall. I got a soul that ain't never been blessed. Yeah ─ I'm a shadow at the back of the hall. Yeah ─ I got a sin I ain't never confessed. And I don't scare easy. Don't fall apart, when I'm under the gun. You can break my heart, and I ain't goin’-a run. I don't scare easy, for no one. And I don't scare easy. Don't fall apart, when I'm under the gun. You can break my heart, but I ain't goin’-a run. I don't scare easy, for no one.
