This week we have been crafting and collecting miniature objects for a dollhouse and home for our mudlarked dolls.
Sorry about the spelling mistake at the beginning.

We have also opened a Ko-fi account, so if you wanted to support us by buying us a metaphorical cup of coffee it would be greatly appreciated xx

You 2 live in enchanted harmony where every tiny and dirty rescued item, be they broken or unrecognizable, is treasured, loved, and re-made to live again inside your magical sugar-box dollhouse. Your creative family partnership and your unabashed joy of the hunt and your love for what you doing, never fails to make me smile! 💗

You two made me happy and feel wonderful that you made a dolls room in a dolls house out of found objects. I used to do that when I was little and then I got a lot more stuff from people to add to the dolls house. My daughter has the house now and I miss it so much. I'm thinking that I will start a small one like when I was a child from all the collections I already have, just like you two. Bless your hearts for making me a child again at 73 years young. Susann

All I could think of watching this lovely video is Sunny and other animals like him that were unloved and unwanted by their former owners and you found them and brought them back to life - lovingly crafting a beautiful forever home for them all. Bitsy, Norma, the little boy and the baby couldn't ask for a better home. The baby looked so comfy in its little crib. Just precious to watch. Thank you!

The Green turns to gold and the warm amber glow of the Sun descends into the dark night, where the crackle of glowing embers in the hearth warm the heart and stir the memory's of the summer past and inspire the chill thoughts of winter, yet to come. A quiet time to watch a little girls imagination turn a simple box in to a home of fantasy and wonder. We are all travelling through time so very quickly,, seasons come and go and children grow yet the memory's will forever be precious and Golden.

This is so lovely♡ I used to go on walks like this most every day. Always searching for tiny things. Now I haven't seen the outside for 10 years and will never again go for a walk. My heart breaks a little at that thought. It's hard to be tough all the time. Please keep these kind of videos coming. They help a lot ♡ I still try to make miniatures whenever I can sit up for a little bit. Even if I can't collect for them anymore💔 Thank you for the lovely video♡

We have to bless people like our lovely Kit and Caboodles for taking us on these amazing little adventures, I would love to sail around the world but probably never will, but through channels like this I can travel and see those things. I'm lucky enough to still do plenty of things but still thank the Lord for these super people who do so much work to take us with them.

How absolutely charming and I picked up the Borrowers flavour immediately. Such a lovely idea. Loving Kate's outfits, she looks like a doll herself, lovely to see young people enjoying traditional clothing and really pulling it off, much nicer than the awful modern stuff, you're a proper star Kate. Oh, ladies.... this was exquisite. Feel all warm and glowy after watching that. ☺️ Reminds me of when my four kids were little... we always built fairy houses in tree stumps wherever we went on holiday and where we lived on the West Coast of Scotland. Recently we went back to one of our old trees and found a miniature dolls teacup still there after all these years.. 🧡🍂🍁🌳☕️

You've probably accepted a name for your lad, but Dustin Mudlark, Dusty for short, would be appropriate. Perhaps a future boy, rescued from the soil-filled areas you collect your foundlings, could bear that name. Your efforts in restoring light and life back to those who delighted past children is laudable. Enjoy it all, discovery, rehabilitation, and tiny home making. You are appreciated, by us AND by Them.

I just started watching your videos so I’m catching up on some older ones. I absolutely adore both of you and all you do! My mothers been gone 6 years but we used to love finding lil treasures on any lil outings we took. I never heard the term mud larking before but apparently it’s what we used to do together. We just called it treasure hunting lol. Your joy of finding the simplest things nature has to offer or the lost and broken treasures of yesterday gives my own soul as much joy as if I were still finding them with my mother. Your skills and imagination are incredible and so interesting to watch. I’m now absolutely addicted to watching your videos! Summer was gone, and the heat died down, and Autumn reached for her golden crown... The heart breaks at the thought of someone, probably of very little means, making that dolls house with such an abundance of love for a child, who is probably now long since gone. The miniatures you made are beautiful. I really admire the way you put heart and soul into all you do, and the sense of wonder with which you view the world. To find the true beauty in the simplest of things is a blessing. For future reference, I have a strong suspicion that a Dremel with a thin cutting disc would have successfully halved your walnut shell.

I believe the boys name should be Percy Piffledump. That certainly looks like Piffledump Manor. What a delightful place you have made it, with such scope for the imagination. You took things from dumps, rivers edge's, and woods, that folks might think were just nonsense, (thus the name piffle), and built a delightful home for little people. Just like the Borrowers, it brings a true feeling of delight. This was such fun to watch. Thank you so much for sharing.

Lovely! I'd much rather have a doll's house like yours than a store brought manufactured one. The little boy looks like a Robbie.

My mother was a child during WWII, and she would knit with wooden toothpicks. I have a picture of her holding a little piece of knitting on Facebook (at 90yrs she can still do it). I have a black pug, so I enjoyed your (Kintsugi) repair on the pugs.

You actually blow my mind with everything from the quality of your videos to the content. My husband bought me a victorian dolls house when I was bed bound for two years due to my health problems in an attempt to stop me getting bored and to keep my creativity flowing and mind ticking over. I absolutely loved the endless possibilities for upcycling every day and found objects into tiny items. I got my dolls house from my mums loft and was sorely disappointed- I had memories of it being a palatial and grand one and it was more like a grotty old bed sit...(I still love it though) haha. Thanks to you two for inspiring me it is now getting a complete overhaul with lots of new accessories and furnishings (maybe a new resident too if I'm fast enough!). Thank you so much again ladies and sunny cat for bringing some wholesome and entertaining light to some otherwise rather dull times! take care xxx

I just love the doll house! It must have been made during the depression. So they used what they had. I think .
