Kate, the beautiful bird on your lovely piece of pottery looks like a phoenix to me.

Epic bead hunt. So many wonderful things. It's like this beach was made for you. Some ideas for saving your backs though. What if you used the gold planners trick of using smaller and smaller sieves to grade the material. You dig up the material with a shovel then sift it in a container with the sieves stacked in it from large to small then pick through the layers of sieves if you do this in water the bonus is that it will wash the dirt and sand off of the pieces as you go. The smallest stuff you can bring home to go through on a table top. (With gold panning they take home the small material to pan out mostly in the winter.) This could be an experimental video for you.

I am amazed at y’all’s eyesight finding those teeny tiny beads! Well done! I love the pottery and China pieces! I would have such a hard time not picking up all of them! I live in Texas and on a place that has homes on it for over 100 years. I find pieces of old glass, shards of pottery and China pieces and I get excited over all of them! I would love to see you create someone with that fork and use all metal pieces for its face! Maybe you did! I need to watch more of your videos! 🥰🥰

When my girls were young, they put beads on safety pins and attach them to their sneaker laces. They would make them in many colors to match their clothing. Sometimes they gave them away as friendship beads. I bet that’s where the ones you found came from. Friends from across the pond.

Amazed that you can see black beads in the beach.

Another tool that you might find handy is a pair of what I think are called forcep tweezers for picking up the tiney beads. They open when you squeeze them. They are relatively inexpensive and can be bought at jewelry making stores. They are used to hold components while soldering. I even have one that is specifically made for picking up beads. It has a tiny dished section at the tip.

The little wire thing that looks like a safety pin top could be the little coiled handle from a small purse (perhaps a beaded coin purse?) Fleur, please make sure you aren’t deficient in vitamin D, ok? My nails peeled like crazy until my doctor found my deficiency (restricts calcium absorption, I believe). Thank you for another lovely video, that is an amazing beach. Some lovely finds. I think the wire with the little loops might be a handle for something like a small lamp, possibly home made, I have seen similar handles years ago, I can't remember what the rings were for unless it was to dissipate heat from a lamp or something so you could hold it. Just a thought to chuck in the pot.

The red wood piece you thought was a topple stopper...is a board game piece. In a game you would move it around the board after you've rolled a number with dice, then move with your marker, like the one you found, move it the total of the two dice you rolled, the total you would then move your marker that many spots. TROUBLE is such a game and lots of fun. I know Oscar would like it.

Liked that close up of that yellow-legged goose walking past. They good eating?? Love the way kate crawls along the beach on her belly. I think a black tracker would be confused by her tracks. Tip your fish over Kate and it will turn into an Elephant. Mum may not have known she had a rat , but you missed a huge Elephant.

Look up small vintage beaded change purses, That one safety pin looking thing looks like it would be part of the metal top.

I went back to see videos I never seen. Thought up something to do. Sift in strainer for seed beads. Like panning for gold. But sift on a mesh net. Think would work.

You will need to take a wheel barrow if you keep going to that beach 👍👍😁xx

Oh you lucky things. My nearest beach is Skegness and even that’s a 2 and a half hour drive away. I absolutely love those beads. Many could be Jet as it was very popular in the Victorian period. Victoria wore a lot of it and dressed in black after Alberts death.

Hi again you can also use tape to hold the beads i do that when making a bead design so it dont roll away.

The grading (sieve) pans for gold panning are kind of expensive but nestle together nicely and are made to fit over a pail. You might be able to borrow some or just use cheap kitchen ones to try this out. The gold panning ones are on my bucket list of things to get someday.

I was watching someone's podcast and they said the reason their are so many beads on the beaches is because they sat on the beach and did bobbin lace and the bobbins were always decorated with beads. I think it is really neat that you find them so many years after they were actually used.

Hey ladies and Oscar if you read this I often go back and watch your videos several times I was watching the fossil video I think it's called here we go a fossiling it was on a beach with lots of big rocks that was a really cool video! It made me wonder if you guys have ever read the book marvelous creatures if you haven't it's amazing it's a book set in the late 1700s about two women who find an expected friendship has to do with fossils and is in England. I just loved it and wanted to recommend it to you guys if your readers. Cant wait for video!

The beach of decapitated porcelain heads 😢 and beads, despite the latter it certainly looks like it turns up some good finds. The blue bead is very reminiscent of Pluto. Sterling video well done.

And Mom finds a head with no hair like it had been shaved for the lobotomy, hence the hole in her head. FYI did you know they still practiced lobotomies into the 1980's?
