How do you perform Adi Mudra?
Increases Oxygen Flow & Lungs Capacity
As Adi mudra mainly includes breathing exercises, performing this mudra increases the flow of prana in our body.
This breathing increases our lung’s capacity gradually which help in a better flow of oxygen. Thus, this mudra helps in a proper and increased flow of oxygen in our body.

The best breathing pattern for Adi mudra is 4:3:6:3. This breathing works in this manner:
Inhale for the count of 4 seconds
Hold the breath in for 3 seconds
Now, exhale the air for 6 seconds
Then end the cycle by holding the breath out for 3 seconds
Along with this, doing this mudra with pranayama also results well.
Along with this, this mudra prevents us from one of the most irritating things people do while sleeping, that is snoring.
Let me explain to you how.
We snore because of the blockage in our airways. This blockage is because of the improper flow of oxygen to our head.
By regular practice of Adi mudra, our body gets a proper flow of oxygen to our head and the blockage in our airways decreases gradually. Thus, this mudra prevents us from snoring.

I joined SSY classes ( Siddha Samadhi Yoga ) since 1996 . 'Adhi mudhra ' also helps to reduce partial head ache . If the ache is in right partial side or left side , which suffers more either that we should ready to press with fingers at thumb's nerve just slightly. It deffinately shows good result.
