I feel lucky to have been able to see Mudvayne in April of 2000. It was during Slipknot's World Domination Tour, and they were the first band to play, followed by Ultraspank, then Slipknot. The concert was like two weeks after the video for "Dig" was released, and 4 months before the album dropped. It was definitely something special, as I bore witness to a force of nature that many were not prepared for.

Was just commenting on videos from this years show I was in the pits for getting better video than in my life wishing I had it from these old shows. God shows were so much better then especially at Alpine Valley back then with people out to just have fun and not worrying about offending others. I'd skip the Tinley shows or go the next day but so many rules and restrictions in Tinley not in place in Wisconsin. So always a better show.

Liberated Tape Archive....props man....you got all kinds a old school shit. This was truly the time you'd want to catch these groups too. It was the best time for the music and raw young talent in their prime. What a time to be alive. Every video of yours I seem to watch takes me right back.....almost like I'm reliving it all. I went to alot of shows back when and saw lots of these bands and alot of them you can't see anymore cause it just doesn't exist and even more of em you can't see anymore due to line-up changes, illnesses, death, bullshit breakups.....etc. You might still be able to see some of them live today but its not like this. Never will they be as good as these shows. All these videos you have here are truly from the best line-ups of said bands. The best times of their careers as well....in my opinion anyway. This genre was at its best around these times give or take 6 or 7 years. I appreciate all the material from this short sample in time when everything was raw...young.....and pure and it was all just a bitchin time......when things seemed simpler or maybe it just seemed that way for me cause it was the time of my youth as well. My prime....my chance to indulge in any and everything I could even care to do. Curious though if you find or have anything from Chimaira, 36 Crazyfists, or maybe From Autumn To Ashes in their early years.

@TylorMyers. It came in through a deal with taper I was part of it. Everybody pitched in with money and got almost the whole collection. But there's another list with mudvayne from 1999 and early early 2000s. The shows is quest club 1999.and supertoad center 2000. Chicago Congress Theater 2000.somerset Xfest 2000. Somerset WI tattoo the Earth 2000

@@TheIcpfan23 Hmm I think sadly that went in one of my "blank" tape dump auctions i did on ebay. I got rid of maybe 200 tapes selling shows i didnt care to keep many years ago. Someone got a nice lot of masters from those.

Mam to think all these kids here probably have their own kids that are almost the same age as they are here now. Time flies. Have to cherish every moment before it becomes a memory.

Pre-911. I had tickets to see Mudvayne on September 11, 2001, in Tulsa, OK that didn't happen. I did end of seeing them 3 times shortly thereafter, but never as the headliner which would have happened on 911 in a small club.
