lol they sound like garbage, I’m not sure you guys really ever saw them when they were good. I love the band and I’ve been to over a dozen shows but it’s time to hang it up and go home. He’s sounding worse and worse every show.

Who cares if you saw em on their first album tour they were hungry and new and had shit to prove, I’m sure they had off shows then too. The only meh show they had was at inkarceration, chads vocals improved a lot after that show. And he Clearly is still getting a lot of shit out on stage with mudvayne he’s actually improved in stage presence compared to the late 2000s

I saw them in Milan, 2001. I didn’t konw them. I was there for Slipknot. They shocked me, Ryan is number one on bass. I was in front of him, i still remember

Chad did mention that he was sick with Covid around this time I believe. But he didn’t even realize it until it was too late. He said that his throat was very dry, and I can tell. Even so, he’s still destroying everything and kicking ass. Which is very impressive.

@@ianmacleod2185 What Greg did vocally wasn't hard at all, i'm sure he could still do it. The new guy seems to be there to help Chad out. There wasn't that much backing vocal in this tune originally. I was a death metal vocalist for 20 years, hadn't practiced in about 7. Got a call about starting a new project, my first attempt I was nailing it like I never had that long break. If you don't use improper technique and cook your voice it will always be there. Chad had some of the best screams in metal at one time, fucking blood curdling. but I knew he wouldn't stay at that level for too long with his technique. You could hear the sound of his vocal chords being absolutely shredded and see the pain on his face at many points during those first stint Mudvayne shows. Then all those years in Hellyeah finished most of it off. No disrespect meant to him, i'll never forget seeing them live 20 years ago. SICKKKK vocals!!

Majority of their songs have a second guitar tracking, and they use a 2nd guitarist (their guitar tech) to match that second tracking from the albums.

Saw Mudvayne a decade & a half or so ago. Hes 50 years old man, screaming as a job for 25 years may take the toll maybe dont you think. Hes sounds amazing still. He may need laser surgery on the voice box it helps, steven tyler , chirs cornell both there voices were going but came back well.
