You don't watch much Britain's Got Talent or America's Got Talent do you? They've had quite a few groups on as competition that were in PERFECT sync to the point they impressed Simon Cowell so much he gave them the golden buzzer.... I can also name a few groups that are in that kind of "perfect sync" who not only were not related but had come together as groups under unusual circumstances... groups like Colabro... Then there is also Pentatonix...Just to name a few...

@@teresavandal4973 What they are meaning to say is that the tonation and timbre of brothers voices are so close to each other it’s a sound that can’t be matched. Maybe you just can’t hear it. Welcome to the world of the Bee Gees. Very few groups DOMINATED the airwaves for as long as they did. The Disco era was theirs, the movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta was like a list of their Greatest Hits and was a cultural classic, and they churned #1 songs one after another. They were so much on the airwaves that a fatigue set in, and in the backlash that followed, they had to write songs for other artists, and those songs hit #1 as well! That's how talented these brothers were! And you will not be surprised that so many other black reactors had thought the Bee Gees were black too! It's one of the most entertaining things to watch their face when they see them on the screen for the first time!

No lip syncing - They really were that good & didn't need to lip sync because, unlike some of the boiler plate song singers of today, they practiced singing together for hours every day and had been doing so for years. Also lip syncing was so frowned upon back then the career of any a singer caught doing it was literally "over". Hell lip syncing was still a big career ending NO NO in 1989, just ask Milli Vanilli. 1. They were bothers who'd sang together their whole lives 2. They were more than 'That good' They were off the charts fabulous.

The BeeGee’s are 3 brothers born in England & later moved to Australia as children. They started singing when they were just young children on radio & local shows. The youngest, Robin, I believe, was only 6 when they started singing together. The Eisley Bros. were quite a few yews before them. Barry is the lead, the oldest & handsome🥰, Maurice & Robin. Their youngest brother came along some years later. His name was Andy Gibb who came very famous & had his own TV variety show here in America. Check him out, you will note the similarities of tones. It was said they were the only singing group that had perfect harmonizing tones probably because of their relationship as siblings. This was written about. I grew up in that era & we loved them!! They wrote & sang just abt all the music for the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Barry has written countless songs for other artists up to modern times & they wrote just abt all their own songs & lyrics. Maurice, I believe, died during a routine surgery back in or around 2003 & Robin died around the 2012 time frame I believe from heart problems. Barry & his wife have just now celebrated their 53rd anniversary & have 4 sons & finally their last baby was a girl much to everyone’s delight! Barry is totally lost without his brothers, they were all so close & came Crome a close-knit, hardworking family background. They lost Andy in his late 20’s to drug addiction after trying clinics, interventions, etc. unfortunately. Totally broke their hearts, they tried so very hard to do everything that they could do to help him get free of that addiction. They were all quite wealthy at the time & could afford the best clinics & help. They even isolated him in his country estate in England to keep him away from getting drugs. Such a talent gone way too soon leaving a heartbreaking family behind. Sad. Look up pictures of them, Andy joined the BeeGee’s for a time as a teen, became an over nite idol & eventually went solo. BeeGee’s stands for the Brothers Gibb.

Slight correction.... they were actually born on the Isle of Man and then moved to England. They started their career in my hometown in Australia. Redcliffe has a laneway called Bee Gees Way which is purely dedicated to them. Barry officially opened it in 2013. Worth a visit if you are ever down under. If you look at Google maps you can find their childhood house on Fifth Ave Scarborough. Then nip down to Morgan's fish n chips for the best prawn cutlets in the known universe!

They wrote their own music, more than 1,000 songs, they had 9 number 1 hits and wrote hits for other artists including Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton and Barry (lead singer here) wrote and recorded a whole album with Barbra Streisand. They wrote the theme song to the movie “Grease” and the majority of the soundtrack for the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Barry didn’t discover that falsetto voice until the 70’s. He has a great lower voice also that can be heard on “Nights on Broadway” as well as Robin Gibb sharing the lead. I recommend watching their live appearance on The Midnight Special Show. @@sue9197 I got that straight from Barry’s mouth in the 2019 Biography of The Bee Gees. But if you Google what year he first sang in falsetto this is the direct quote: The first Bee Gees Song that Barry sang in Falsetto was “Nights on Broadway”, from the Bee Gees' 1975 album “Main Course”. Record Producer Arif Mardin asked Barry if he could “scream in tune” during the main chorus of the song, Barry said “he'll try”, did it and…the rest is Bee Gees History. I was a fan of The Bee Gees in the 1960’s and Barry never sang in falsetto. Go look up their hits prior to 1974 and watch.
