This is totally awesome! I made my own version of this envelope a long time ago, but it didn't look remotely as good as yours. Great job, Danny, and thank you so much for sharing! ♥ ETA: What my howler would say could be something along the lines of stop taking so many books from the library and leave some for other people to check out. I was a bookworm in high school :)

@@wizardryworkshop Dracula. I collect different editions of it (actual books, comic books adaptations and miniature versions). I may have more than a dozen. My husband begs me not to buy more, he says I have enough already :D

This is really cool and with some tweaking it could look even more like the movie. I would like to say if you took some wax and mold them to lips to give a more 3d and realism might be cool, but as is still cool

In the film it has purple eyes couldn’t you print purple on the back of the letter to form the eyes.?

I didn't see purple eyes, but you could easily put purple inside if you want.

I was always baffled by this scene in the movie. Harry received the letter as a result of him using a spell in from of a muggle, but its ok for this letter to be read aloud in from of a muggle....double standard much?

First, it’s Mafalda Hopkirk, not Mafilda. And second, it’s not a Howler, but a talking envelope that was not in the books. Film invention. Howlers are red.
