= INGREDIENTS =
1 bread / pound cake pan
200g(7oz, 14Tbsp) unsalted butter (soften, room temp)
200g(1cup) sugar
4 eggs (room temp)
200g(1 1/3cup plus 1Tbsp) pastry flour
2g(1/2tsp) baking powder
30g mugwort powder
20g(4tsp) milk
30g(2Tbsp) heavy cream
1. Preheat the oven to 350F / 180C. Cover the bread/pound cake pan with parchment paper.
2. Cream the butter until the texture is like mayonnaise. And add sugar, mix until light and fluffy.
3. Put eggs, 1-2 at a time, beat until combined.
4. Put sieved pastry flour, baking powder, and mugwort powder. Once the mixture is combined, add milk and heavy cream.
5. Fill the pan with the boat shape. Bake 20min, until the top part is slightly baked. Using a knife, cut it horizontally in the middle. And put it back to the oven, for 25~30 min until a toothpick inserted in center of the cake comes out clean.
