Jinnah House is an unoccupied house in Malabar Hill, a premium neighbourhood of the city of Mumbai in India associated with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. It is also known as South Court and Malabar Hill mansion. It was built by Mohammad Ali Jinnah and remained his main residence for 10 years until he left in 1946 for Karachi. Jinnah knew exactly what will entail if he went ahead with the idea of Partition, he was the prime architect of Direct Action day that resulted in the Great Calcutta killings, he was the one who gave the green signal to the tribal invasion of Kashmir in 1948..and much more ! He was a stuffed up, arrogant product of British colonialism who hated anything connected with Indian culture !

He thought that muslims could never live with hindus but in India they were living alongside and were given all their rights also it was clear from the start that Islamic radicalism will grow in Pakistan. Its a good thing he realised that Pakistan was a mistake before dying so he knew that he was wrong.

Jinnah and Muslim league accepted cabinet mission plan 1946 and gave up the demand for Pakistan. However the then Congress president Nehru refused to accept the same. Maulana azad in his book "India wins freedom" wrote making Nehru congress president was his biggest political blunder. The erstwhile ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity, Mohammad Ali Jinna, was pushed lately to extend his support to the idea of Pakistan by haughty attitudes of some contemporary national leaders. Even before jinnah Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar propounded two nation theory. To pin the blame of partition entirely of jinnah is wrong/unfair.

@@abc30610 There was no doubt nehru was better than jinnah when it comes vision of a country and its future ... Where Jinnah's own decision and today's pakistan was enough to prove who is better jinnah or Nehru ...But I would say Nehru got his share of crimes too he got in to blunders too but rejecting cabinet mission plan wasn't one of them ,jinnah and muslim league still playing the game two nations theory like eastern and western provinces ... No surprise after few year's Jinnah two nations theory ends in disaster with creation of Bangladesh .. where indian leaders rejects two nation theory and choose to be secular State enshrining to the concept of religious pluralism but here they commit a serious mistake' they didn't understood not all religion or people are secular or democratic in nature , SECULARISM and democracy can only be ensured with like minded people and religion ... Those who have mutual respect for eachother and india still paying for that mistake .. Before Savarkar or jinnah it was sir Sayed Ahmed Khan who proposed two nations theory also know as father of two nations theory , you missed the history there or choose to miss .... Neither Savarkar not Tilak are responsible of death' of millions but jinnah was ....... When both political parties find out partition was inevitable they should have made sure a complete peacefull exchange of Muslim's and nonmuslims between india and pakistan ....specially congress when it already witness the madness of jinnah in Bengal with Direct action ... choices comes with consequences and the leaders of past didn't choose wisely and it can't be downplay with term mistake, it wasn't when millions of people affected because of your decision for long period it's called crime .......

Partition was the best thing happened , only thing lacking was proper partition . There should have been complete exchange of population between Hindus and Muslims (Nothing against muslims, they are good) under supervision of British and the same with Kashmir . So both the countries could prosper and develop themselves

You are wrong.. Jinnah had take a Mohata palace at karachi and promised Mohata family who was moving to India that in return they can take his house at Mumbai. Jinnah had given sent a written communication to Nehru however Nehru denied to give that house to those Mohata family. Additionally Nehru and Jinnah had not given any support to those Mohata family who left Pakistan leaving there palace, business and had to start from zero in India.

Whatever the politicians were at that time, cunning or fickle minded, they were definitely bad decision makers. If they would have handled the communal disturbances well at that time, there wouldn't have been a partition. And the after effects are seen even after 75 yrs to that. Partition was not the right solution to those conflicts.

In the early 19th century, Premji, who joined a fishing business, was forced to convert to Islam after his ex-communication by the Hindu orthodoxy. Grand father was outcasted from their vegetarian,high class,raghu vamshi community for his fish business.family turned to islam.he got london education,where muslims were more familiar(crusades) and more popular (abhrahamic). jinnah wanted to retain his mumbai home and return to india because his life mission was to takeover and turn india into a muslim country.

इस एपीसोड में थोड़े संशोधन की ज़रूरत है. विवेक बरनवाल अपनी पुस्तक" जिन्ना एक पुर्नदृष्टि"में इसी प्रसंग को अलग ढंग से लिखते हैं. वह ज्यादा प्रामाणिक मालूम होता है. नेहरू ने श्रीप्रकाश को भारत का पाकिस्तान में पहला उच्चायुक्त क्यों चुना?इसका कारण था कि श्रीप्रकाश जिन्ना के वकालत के जूनियर और एक तरह से दत्तक पुत्र जैसे थे.जिन्ना जैसे बिगड़ैल-तुनकमिजाज आदमी से कोई अफसर नहीं निपट सकता था इसलिये श्रीप्रकाश को भेजा गया. अब ये बात की जिन्ना मिलने गये हर तरह से गलत लगती है. वास्तव में श्रीप्रकाश जी रोज़ शाम की चाय जिन्ना के साथ पीते थे. वहीं गवर्नर जनरल हाउस में ये बात हुयी. शेष" नेहरू से कहो दिल ना तोड़ें,"वाला वाक्य सभी ने लिखा है. बाद में श्रीप्रकाश जी भारत में राज्यपाल बनाये गये.उ०प्र०के मिर्जापुर जिले में मुख्यालय से18किमी दूर लगभग उनको बड़ी जमीने मिलीं(कैसे स्रोत स्पष्ट नहीं है. बाद में उनके वारिसों ने कमज़ोर दलितों आदिवासियों की जमीने भी कब्जा कर ली).उनकी खेती को पानी देने के लिए अपर खजुरी बांध बना. ऐसा कहा जाता है.

Jinnahs property should be rented or sold and the money can be used to fund old age homes etc. Similarly Pakistan can do the same with Indian owned properties. Accept the fact we are 2 different countries . British and jinnah did was really good for all three countries.
