Ali lacked boxing fundamentals and it caught up with him. Even Eddie Futch said "at some point journeyman fighters will defeat Ali" and he was correct.

Norton catches Ali's jab and fires his own jab which hit's Ali in the face and drives him to the corner or against the ropes. Norton takes advantage and beats the pooh out of Ali while on the ropes or in the corner. If Ali had just parried Norton's jab he could have done anything he wanted to with Norton but he had his right hand hanging at his waist as always and was unable or unwilling to change. That jab by Norton and Ali's inability to hit Norton with a jab is the reason why his got his arse kicked. There was no diagnoses of any disease suffered by Ali. He simply lacked boxing skills. I'll give you $1,000.00 if you can deliver a doctors diagnoses of Parkinson's in Ali anytime during 1976. Norton's ability to negate Ali's jab and use his own as a weapon is the sole reason he did so well against Ali.
