What an awesome talent Asif was. I still remember switching off the tv in India Pak matches while he was bowling. I personally rate him higher than Wasim Akram. Nice interview.

I met Asif shortly about 5-6 years ago when he came to Holland to play a one-off final for a local franchise based T20 league. He seemed like a nice guy. Everyone makes mistakes, some big and some small, but one thing is clear. His love for cricket and and understanding of fast bowling is immense. THIS is the passion our fast bowlers of today are lacking. PCB is a f*cked up institution for treating equals differently. They should utilize Asif as much as possible in coaching roles. In 2 years you'll see a world class bowling attack. Besides, there's no point in holding on to past mistakes. There are clear, strict rules in place now and everyone knows that it will be the end of their careers if they mess up.

Being a Indian I always scared to see him on run up because any ball he can get batsman out does not matter which Indian player on strike he took so much from us which we all love do deserve see from him i will never forgive him for that I keep watching his hand during whole interview if he has something special in his hand What a LEGEND he is.

That was ball of the century as it behaved abnormally. I am indian btw.. he was exceptional bowler regardless of pace.. he had medium pace still the effortless bowler. No doubt pakistan produce some good bowlers.

I am big fan of Asif In the discussion he said that YK, Wiqqi and Misbah are all zero in coaching. This is a big statement to make. I agree that coaching and cricket skills are two different things. A good batsman/bowler may not be a good coach
