Ah! What a song! SJ's specialty was using very high numbers of violins - it said that there were times they used 60-80 violinists in their orchestra . List to any of their hit songs. I just love this aspect of the song. Of course, Rafi-Lata the eternal voices!!

Rafi Sahab, always sublime in his singing with god like voice. What a way to sing, ...voice perfectly matching with the particular hours of the day in the scene, only Rafi Sahab could this. Heart stealing jewel of a song, a wonderful audio visual experience. Shammi Kapoor is youthful, Mala Sinha is pretty, the flora and fauna of Nilgiris, truly a paradise, Shankar Jaikishan's absolutely mastery in melody but the the primary credit, without the gift of Hasrat Jaipuri's lyrics, I really don't think this man made wonder could have been possible. I don't think Hasrat had to work hard for it, his romanticism was from within a divine gift, due to his innocence, his dedication for poetry.
